Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Ryan.

Hi Lisa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I took my lifestyle of getting around without a car and turned it into a tour business. Originally, I had planned to buy a car when I moved from MI to AZ. I work at home so I decided to wait on it and instead ride my bike, walk and use local transportation for a bit. It’s now 4 years later and I realized I don’t need a car 24/7. I rent one about 2-4 times a year and that’s really all I need. I’ve saved about $25-$30k doing this and the total elimination of stress is by far the best benefit I enjoy every day!

A friend came with me once on a scenic tour to Phoenix using the bus/light rail and skytrain. she said it was so awesome and that I should do it as a business… so I did! SEEK AND FIND TOURS was born. https://www.seekandfindtours.com/home.

I am trying to decide if my customer base will be out of town tourists or locals who take a staycation with me. I have not done any real advertising yet because of this and because I travel a bit. I basically take singles or groups for a fun day and land where they want after the scenic portion. The current options are: The Japanese Friendship Garden, one of the many restaurants, Genu-wine or the capital for a tour. It never gets old and I’ve been doing it now for 4 years!! I love that from Goodyear or Avondale (both of which I lived in) I can spend the day in Phoenix for a daycation and relax on the bus all the way! Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No real struggles – I already run another small, online fitness training business too. I build all my own websites (ok there were some struggles with that) and 2 YouTube channels but YouTube isn’t my real focus, my clients are! LisaRyanHealthyFit.com was born out of Covid-19 in 2020. https://www.seekandfindtours.com was built in 2025.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My clients say they love the way they feel; likeI really care deeply about their health. I make them all set goals, even the ones in their 80’s! I do not promise miracles but I pray for my clients to have them. We have a great connection and that’s probably why they’ve been my clients for over 10 years.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I have had a lot of blessings in my life and my career. I’m not out for millions of dollars but my life is blessed in millions of ways. People to laugh with and cry with and pray with make me the most happy. I think it does the same for them too.
