Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Love.

Hi Lisa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey as a fine artist began with a highly successful career as a graphic designer and design studio CEO. Our focus on visual branding for some of the world’s leading companies earned us national and international recognition. As a commercial artist, I was able to travel the world, experiencing the people and their culture first-hand. These enriching experiences have had an impact on my work as a fine artist.

Over the years I explored a variety of mediums to create my art, including photography, glassblowing, mixed media, sculpture, and painting. I believe in continued growth in my work as an artist. The different mediums have inspired unexpected solutions. While the principles of design I learned early on in my career are still present in my art today.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has it been a smooth road? I would say the path has been a winding and hilly road. Any obstacles seemingly disappear through my faith and commitment.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an artist that designs works of art for the modern home. I specialize in abstract paintings and sculptural pieces for the art enthusiast.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
One that comes to mind is eating a raspberry right off the bush in my grandmother’s garden. The warmth of the sunlight added a luminous quality to the colors in the garden and a sweetness to the raspberries themselves. That sensation was truly memorable.
