Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Madison.

Hi Lindsey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
For as long as I can remember I have always felt pulled to help others. It started at a very young age when I loved taking care of my baby dolls and then progressed into babysitting and nannying, until I found my true passion in becoming a nurse as I took care of my grandfather when he became terminally ill. Making others feel better, whether it be with a hug, a bandaid, or a good laugh, has always filled my cup.

My first job as a nurse right out of college was in Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant. It wholeheartedly shaped me into the person and nurse I am today—I learned so many invaluable skills and challenging life lessons working in that field, but especially how to be there for others during some of their most difficult moments in life. After 7 years in Pediatrics, I decided it was time to pursue another passion and dream of mine, which was to work in the field of Aesthetic Medicine and Plastic surgery. I was fortunate to work for an incredible plastic surgeon, assisting him closely in the operating room while learning all about the intricacies of facial anatomy and the art of aging gracefully. While working for him, I was also in school obtaining my advanced Nurse Practitioner degree, working tirelessly on my dissertation, clinical hours, group projects, and exams. Continued education has always been a huge passion in my life, which is yet another reason why I love the ever evolving and constantly advancing industry of Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine.

Fast forward a few years later – I am now the Medical Director and Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of our beautiful new practice, Skinfinity Medspa, located in Gilbert, Arizona. I oversee a team of incredible providers who offer an extensive list of high-end services that are curated specifically to meet the patient’s needs and beauty goals. We pride ourselves on the patient experience, ensuring safety and comfort above all, while delivering impeccable results that keep you looking like you, only better.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to get to where I am today has been filled with many hurdles and challenges, however if not for these challenges, I wouldn’t have become the person and Nurse Practitioner I am today. I am grateful for every curve ball, every hard lesson, and every closed door—because it only made me stronger and furthered the belief in myself and my abilities. Out of all the challenges throughout my career, working in Pediatric Oncology was and will always be the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding and life-changing.
