Today we’d like to introduce you to Leyna Slivka
Hi Leyna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been passionate about content creation, even back in high school when I started uploading social media content just for fun. Initially, I pursued a career in aesthetic nursing and landed a job at a local med spa. There, I took on the role of social media manager and discovered my true calling. I fell in love with the content creation process and decided to transition into freelancing as a social media manager and UGC content creator. Today, I assist a music artist in crafting content for her social media platforms, and my favorite aspect of my work is helping brands build their brand awareness.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of my main struggles as a social media manager has been finding a work-life balance. While I love creating content, I often find myself constantly on social media or brainstorming new ideas even when I’m not officially working. This blurred line between work and personal time can be challenging, but my passion for helping brands grow keeps me motivated.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in creating lifestyle and beauty content. I’m passionate about starting my own social media marketing agency called Going Social Club, where I help brands build brand awareness, create content, and strategize on social media.
I’m most proud of my ability to understand and amplify a brand’s voice, creating authentic and engaging content that resonates with audiences. What sets me apart is my dedication to every project, my innovative approach to content creation, and my relentless pursuit of excellence in helping brands succeed.
What are your plans for the future?
My plan for the future is to graduate from ASU with a degree in Technical Communication specializing in Social Media Management. I’m looking forward to starting my own social media marketing agency, Going Social Club, where I can continue to help brands build their presence and achieve their goals.
