Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Bradley, Jr.
Hi Kevin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I knew early on in High School that Art was going to be a part of my life. Thankfully I have a very supportive family that encouraged me to draw, paint and utilize anything that was associated with Art, and tattooing is one of those. You only become better at a skill through practice, and that’s what I have done.
Ten years later – I own my own Studio and get to tattoo as a career. I still practice my art and aid others on their own journey. With a supportive family, I am able to travel the world to experience all different types of art in all different mediums. I continuously strive to provide the best for my clients and for my Studio. I’m thankful that I get to tattoo amazing people every day.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Thankfully, I have a very supportive family of my mother, sister, friends, family, and especially my wife. All things require you to put in the time, some things are a learning curve but this is what life is. Imagine a life where everything went your way-how boring would that be?
Some things come easy other things not so much, but you keep going. I will continuously be working on a better version of myself and my Studio, there may be obstacles, but it’s nothing that I can’t figure out or work through.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Tattoo Artist, and I own my own tattoo studio in Mesa. Even though I have become proficient in all types of tattoo styles, my mastery is in color.
Portraits are a well-known skill of mine, with a pop of FUN! Tattoo stickers are always a good idea. I believe that my style is mine, there are others similar but I have worked a long time to perfect my skill so I don’t worry about other people, they are welcome to follow.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I am a learner, I believe that continuous education in your trade is a great thing.
Every year I attend tattoo seminars from other tattoo artists. Sometimes this will be in person, or I might travel to attend. I also enjoy art night with my family. My nine-year-old is my prodigy, so I get to review and go over all the tattoo basics and understand tattooing from a different perspective.
