Today we’d like to introduce you to Julliana Garten.

Hi Julliana, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today. 
I’m Originally from Brazil where I graduated with an Architecture, Interior Design, City Plan, and Landscape Design degree. I worked with the best names in the industry, both in Brazil and the USA, until I decided to launch my own company.

Since then, I’ve been designing beautiful, unique, personalized, and functional spaces and fashionable jewelry and products for my remarkable customers. I’ve been invited to participate in fashion and Interior Design events, runway shows, magazine publications, and TV segments and I had the honor of winning multiple awards for my work.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The Design world is extremely competitive, and we have to understand that in this industry, we will never stop studying and learning something new every day. I always knew the importance of staying updated with the new trends. Knowledge is key in this world.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In my line of work, creativity is key. Whether I’m designing homes, interiors, and jewelry, or inventing new products like I’ve created “Clip-on Going,” understanding my client’s needs is crucial. For example, Clip on Going solves the common problem of easily losing or breaking glasses by securely attaching them to any type of bag or backpack…

This invention started with identifying a widespread issue, followed by a process of design, engineering, and then getting it out to the market. It’s essential to realize that blending business knowledge with creativity is what makes a designer successful.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I’m happy when I see and hear from my clients that they are happy with any work I do. I’m happy when a client orders a piece of jewelry that means a lot to them or just sends me pictures of how they looked and felt pretty wearing anything I made. I’m happy when I hear that my “Clip-on Going” idea is brilliant!
