Today we’d like to introduce you to Javan & Aiyana Gaiter.

Hi Javan & Aiyana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We both love connecting with the community and are artists at heart, and we’ve been able to conquer both through photography and videography.

What started off as an opportunity to shoot at a friend’s birthday party back in 2021 has quickly evolved into a thriving media business. Since then, we have worked with Tucson political figures, Tucson Unified School District, Blax Friday as well as major and local artists. We have also worked with DJs/Event Hosts and local businesses around Tucson.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? No, but like they say “anything worth having is worth working for”. We have had our fair share of bumps in the road. From finances, client interaction (good and bad), paperwork, teamwork, and communication.

We strive to learn and show up for our business to the best of our abilities, so although we’ve had to overcome some hardships we have not and will not let that stop us.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We specialize in videography and photography, for specific events and portraiture. We’re known for being active in our community and supporting local businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists. We believe that if we want support we have to support others too. We are most proud of ourselves!

We both come from not the most ideal backgrounds and never would we have thought to be in the positions that we’re in today. Within just a year of picking up a camera, Aiyana was able to work with Teen Vogue, and within a year of picking up videography, Javan worked with major artist Mozzy. We have been in rooms that we could only dream about, and that’s due to keeping God first, staying humble, and never giving up. What sets us apart from others is that we’re not only a couple, but we are transparent in our business and people can connect to that.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Staying transparent, honest, meek, and resilient.
