Hi Erika, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Erika Ledezma, born and raised in Phoenix, AZ where it can get up to 120 degrees! 🥵 Even so, I love the Valley and I don’t see myself living anywhere else. I’m 31 years old, married to the most amazing Man and proud mommy of two beautiful children. I’ve been a stay at home Mom for the past seven years and am thankful to have had that opportunity. I am 100% Mexican! ✨ both my parents come to the US in pursuit of the American dream. I owe them so much 🤍

Ever since I can remember I’ve loved aspects of beauty. I can recall going into my mom’s makeup drawer, grabbing her blush or lipstick, staring at it and thinking of the day I can put it on my face lol. Everything about the beauty industry fascinates me. But one of the main reasons I decided to get into the industry is to help women feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. I believe when you truly love who you are, everything else falls into place. If I can be apart of that, even in a small way, then I can say I’ve found my dream job 🤍Beauty comes from within, I’m just here to help on the external 😉

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m extremely grateful to say it has been a smooth road. We all have our trials but it definitely hasn’t been something I haven’t been able to get though. I also see that things can always be much worse. I’m surrounded by such a great support system that it makes me cry sometimes🫶🏽

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a micro influencer and I’ve been doing content for about 3 consistent years now. I love it! I just started doing brows about 4 months ago and I absolutely love it! I specialize in brow lamination, tint and threading. What I’m most proud of (humbly) is the way I connect with my clients. I feel in a way like a friend because I am with them for about an hour and half so in a way I have to spark conversation in order to make them feel 100% comfortable. I love meeting new people and learning about their journey🫶🏽 I truly I’m so grateful that my clients choose me as their brow artist!

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I love to use social media of course but also CapCut, canvas. I love utilizing podcast about self love and self care.
