Life & Work with Dylan Krueger of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dylan Krueger.

Hi Dylan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The origin of my story dates back to my first mission trip with my church in Minnesota. We traveled to a small native American community in northern Minnesota with extreme poverty that I had never encountered before. Throughout the week I helped paint and fix houses that had been neglected for years. The communities support and thankfullness of our work inspired me to want more of the same. As I was refelecting on what career path to embark on, I realized that I needed something that could provide me with a similiar feeling as that mission trip. I wanted to help people and change their lives for the better. That was the initial spark that led me down the medical path and I have since experienced many great patient success stories that have reinforced that decision.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There has been tons of obstacles along the way which are incredibly frustrating and sometimes painful but they are needed for growth and wisdom. Initially, building a patient base in a city that you are completely new to without any ties whatsoever was a big undertaking with lots of challenges. Pushing through the many obstacles of the pandemic was also a huge challenge with lots of changes and adaptions that were made on the fly. Many entrepeneurs were not able to survive and I am very grateful to have made it through those times.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Naturopathic Physician at Health for Life Naturopathic in Phoenix. My practice focuses on men’s health, regenerative orthopedics and health optimization. I try and help guys live their best life at their highest potential. I’m known for my platelet rich plasma treatments and finding success in cases conventional medicine has fallen short in. Throughout the years I have developed my own way of processing and concentrating platelets that allows me to give patients a much stonger treatment than other Orthopedic doctors or regenerative medicine doctors. This high dose PRP approach has helped me get patients from around the country and even a few international patients. One case that I’m really proud of and tremendously happy about involved a young women in chronic low back pain. She had it for many years and had gotten to the point of being on various opioids and muscle relaxers on a daily basis. Her quality of life was at an all time low before finding me for treatment. I did a series of PRP injections on her over a 12 week span and then hadn’t heard from her for a while. I was finally able to reconnect with her and found out that she was pain free and had gotten pregnant with her husband. She had once thought that having children might not be in the cards but was overwhelmed with gratitude for the care I provided. I take great pride and rejoice when I can positively impact someones life for the better. What sets me apart is my releationships with the patients and me genuinely wanting them to succeed. I dont want to fail any patient and I will do everything possible to help them.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Lots of massive changes are about to emerge with the largest obviously being AI’s imprint into medicine. Its very hard to predict what this will actually look like but I think its safe to say it will enhance the personalization of medicine. Whether that’s tailored medications or supplements to your genetic profile or advanced radiology to predict future discease risk and early stage cancer. The possibilities are endless and its going to be of great importance for doctors to keep up to date more than ever with technology. I also see our understanding of how gentics relates to our health and overall wellbeing continuing to evolve. It’s already happening in longevity and anti-aging medicine and will eventually become fully mainstream.
