Life & Work with Bryce Peacock

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Peacock.

Hi Bryce, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I won’t get too deep into my life story. I was born in Aurora, Colorado, my pops moved us to Arizona when I was two. Spent lots of my summer & winter school breaks in Tennessee growing up; with my grandparents. I learned a lot about ethics & discipline during those times. (Big shoutout to my Grams for always being there & setting an example & my little sister for being my best friend, & pops for holding it down) Fast forward to 17-18 years old, I picked up my first camcorder in a pawn shop. Spent all the money I had on an old Laptop & went to work.

Really just documented what was around me. Fell in love with the craft & started to learn how to build a timeline for editing. I started to get into the Arizona music scene shortly after that, documenting shows for different artists. That pushed me to get involved in Music Video Production. At this point, I’m infatuated with documenting shows & growing this new love for Music Video creation. Documenting a lot of BTS & different studio sessions with different artists.

Fast forward to around 2020, I started to get the opportunity to create more Music Videos from a director/editor standpoint. Dropped a lot of good work that year. 2021 hit & I was shooting a lot more shows that year. Doing a lot of Live Events & documentation for artists. I truly realized how much I love documenting moments for people. All my stuff is on one of my Instagrams @iinferno___. 2022 comes around. I would pop out & photograph/film my little bros Espen & Carter Rushing playing football.

This beautiful pair of human beings (The boy’s parents) Darrell & Kameo Rushing reminded me & my amazing woman Caree Benford how much we love sports & being ex-athletes that we are, and we should take this more seriously. (They said we were good at it, we thought they were gassin’).

Once Caree & I heard that, it was like a flip of a switch in our heads. We immediately went home & hit the drawing board with names & ideas. Thirty minutes later, it hit us.

“BStrong Media.” We were like yup, that’s it. That day, February 20th, 2022 we created the name. Designed/Created a logo that night & a few months later created the business officially, then the ball was rolling.

We’re coming up on our 1 year anniversary and I think this piece is actually perfect timing.

We are a Sports Media Company, providing Sports Photography & Videography here in Arizona & around the United States. As well as a platform for Sports News, starting at Arizona High School Sports. There’s tremendous talent coming out of Arizona & we intend on capturing that & displaying that for these young student-athletes. Big shoutout to Head Coach Eddy Zubey & Higley Knights for having us all season, what a tremendous season it was. Coach Zubey & his team showed an insane amount of love toward us & we’re so grateful & appreciative of them.

We really treasure the Arizona High School football scene. We will do what we can to deliver substantial results in what we do. I still document & shoot for music artists & love doing that. I’m extremely excited to see what 2023 has in store.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe everyone has a bumpy road in some way, or somehow. Having a business is never easy & never a smooth road, at least not during the start-up. I will say, you learn to love that process, you learn to love that journey. You learn who & what you want to surround yourself with. You learn your limits & how to set boundaries. How you view or face those struggles, is what makes them. Any struggle or obstacle during my journey was just a lesson to myself. I appreciate everything that has happened to me, good or bad. It’s all part of the process, and you have to trust it.

You have to stay disciplined. You have to stay determined, and dedicated, and work hard. Most importantly, I had to go through every emotion to get to where I’m going. This is only the start of something beautiful.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a human of many abilities.

I document moments in life, work in music video production, & run BStrong Media, a Sports Media Company, with this one-of-a-kind, remarkable person, Caree Benford. My line of craft consists of capturing moments that can’t be redone. You get one chance to capture it your way. Music shows, festivals, sporting events, important moments & more. When I’m documenting the music scene through my eye. I’m very particular & pay close attention to detail in my art. I love film photography. Past two-three years I’ve been collecting photos, and within the next two years, I’ll be self-publishing my first Film Photography Book. When I’m filming on the more musical side of things, I tend to use a lot more analog cameras. (Super 8, VHS/Mini Dv Camcorders, 8mm, etc.) Also, operate digital 4k cameras.

Working towards shooting on 16mm. Our Sports Media Company is basically completely digital, but we tend to throw our analog cameras in the mix sometimes. We truly love working with all these AZ sports teams & student-athletes. There’s some serious talent out here in the desert & our team is determined to capture that.

The same goes for the music scene out here in AZ. There’s so much talent in the desert that it’s actually crazy.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years I could see the industry completely revolutionizing stop-animation, visuals synth work. I hope they regulate AI Technology. I like real raw organic materials and human art. I don’t like seeing the AI-generating techniques that industries are using. It’s completely stealing from artists. Can also see everything being “Motion Picture” based. Reels are everything. The question is, what will social media be like in 5-10 years?

The film cost right now is ridiculous. I can see the real film shooters sticking with film because it’s more than just a phase, but I don’t see prices dropping any time soon. I can see a lot of people reverting to Sony Cyber Shots & early digital cameras.

The editing game is absolutely crazy. Couldn’t tell you where that’s going to be in 10 years. Just know, people are creating new worlds & realities. Sports Media is changing. BSM hopes to grow with it, in an organic, genuine way. Our results speak volumes about that.
