Today we’d like to introduce you to Bret Wojciak

Hi Bret, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Shortly after graduating medical school I returned home to Flagstaff Arizona and opened the wellness center in 2018. We started with 2 massage therapists and myself. From there we have grown to offer 2 chiropractors, 8 massage therapists, stretch therapy and acupuncture. Just as were starting to gain traction Coivd hit and sent us into an unknown territory, but luckily the care we provide was something that people needed and we were able to come out of the pandemic stronger than ever.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It constantly has its ups and downs largely depending on our practitioners. Flagstaff being a smaller town is often hard to attract certain practitioners. Massage therapists can often rotate and come and go, but one summer our first chiropractor gave his notice to move and we had to find a new doctor in a short amount of time. We were able to find one in time but that doctor did not end up working out for us so we had to utilize a big outreach to bring another doctor in. It was very stressful at the time but ended up working out very well. Outside of that there is always insurance companies to deal with and front staff turnover at times.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in gastrointestinal health and regenerative therapy to aid in pain relief by healing injuries. For gastrointestinal care I utilize specialty testing such as comprehensive stool and allergy tests along with herbal remedies to aid patient with acute to chronic gastrointestinal issues. We help them identify issues, concerns and deficits in the GI tract and help them regain optimal function. For regenerative therapy I utilize PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injection to help reignite the healing process in joints and connective tissues to allow deeper healing to take place and improve pain, range of motion and mobility in patients with acute to chronic musculoskeletal injuries.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Consistency and quality of care. Our main focus at our clinic is patient care, where we constantly ask how we can do better.
