Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashli Blyth

Hi Ashli , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in healthcare since 2008 and have been a nurse since 2011. I have done all different types of nursing and it wasn’t until during Covid when I found myself working in a high-risk situation while pregnant that I started to look at other ways of working as a nurse that wouldn’t be as high risk. I did IV infusions in people’s homes for quite a while and then I had this idea that I would start offering cosmetic injections in conjunction with the IV infusion. That was just supposed to help supplement my income. At the same time, I was pregnant and taking some time away from traditional nursing jobs but then before I knew it, my friends started telling their friends and my clients began telling their friends and I grew pretty quickly to the point that I was working in my house and doing Botox parties and stuff like that. My husband was in the process of building a dental office and halfway through the build-out. I asked him what he would think about me coming in and having a space in his office and he said that he thought that that would be a pretty unique idea…. and that’s where aesthetic smiles was born. We are half cosmetic and general dentistry and half Med Spa.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Opening my own business has not been a smooth road. In 2018 I tried to open a business doing something different and it was just going to be solely IV infusions I started getting pretty successful, but I didn’t know how to manage and handle the business portion so I pulled out of that one. They became too overwhelming. But when I went to go back to my business a few years later, I learned so much as well as running alongside my husband while he opened his dental business. We’ve just been growing and learning together.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do cosmetic injectables as well as vitamin infusions. I feel like what sets me apart is that I try to treat the person as a whole from the inside out and the outside in. We try to treat aging holistically and do a lot more regenerative and bio-stimulator medicine to help slow some of the aging signs down, but to keep the person looking like themselves. My goal is to truly just help each, and every one of my clients feel confident as they age, but not make them look like they have had work done.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I was born and raised in Arizona and grew up out in Queen Creek. I love Arizona and I love being from Queen Creek and still living here. I have grown to love the landscape here and appreciate desert much more the older I get. I love hiking, paddle boarding, and being in the water as well as snowboarding and enjoying the snow. I love that here is Arizona you can have that all with just a short drive. The one thing that I have started to dislike about Arizona it’s just how crowded it has become. I guess the secret is out as to how amazing this state is.
