Today, we’d like to introduce you to Amy Michelle.

Hi Amy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I lived another life in this body in this lifetime. I lived by the rules of others. I acquiesced to authority and higher power outside of myself and my inner God, and then, one day, I experienced an inner earthquake that shook me so deeply to the core that I was dismantled and deconstructed, and everything I had ever thought I had known was gone.

A corporate career that I hated from the moment it began was over. I was made redundant, as they coined it. A dog died tragically in my care, and I was blamed, shamed, and sued. My own dog was diagnosed with cancer, and I panicked. I invited an emotional affair into my marriage out of desperation for a grandiose escape. My husband then had his own affair in response, my mirror. The world I knew crumbled within me and around me.

Are you familiar with the Tower card in the Tarot? It became the Archetype of my life at that moment, and a radical death of identity was upon me. While I saw it coming and it was confirmed repeatedly, I was completely in Uber denial. That Amy died, and a new Amy was waiting to be born, but even that took time because severe codependent patterns of denial and low self-esteem clung to the old me that was already gone.

It has taken me thirteen years in germination to begin to see and feel the seedlings sprout. This is a radical redemption reincarnation story. I wasn’t ready to face the mirror and look at every facet of my life without blame, shame, guilt, or denial. I am emerging now, birthing myself a new identity from a deep and dark secret cavern.

Why? Because despite what has transpired, I am a Dreamer to the core, a Positive Pollyanna, a Mary Poppins-inspired alchemist who somehow just won’t give up! As the quote goes in the final Rocky movie, I still have stuff in the basement, and I can’t leave this planet until I clean it all up.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A smooth road? NOT A CHANCE! I would have departed from this human suit a long time ago if it was a smooth ride. I would have been bored.

Every obstacle became an opportunity; every challenge was a chance. My life philosophy is “Grow or Go,” and I live and breathe it with a conviction that invokes an arousing in others. I did not expect to be bored. This I know for certain. I incarnated to expand. Didn’t you?

I was born with a unilateral cleft lip and unilateral cleft palate, and my twenty-three-year-old parents did not know about this surprise before I was born. So, it’s fair to say that I was born with unexpected challenges, and I was born to adapt to unique obstacles. I had to learn a basic survival skill that many are naturally born with to receive sustenance differently.

With a gaping hole in the roof of my mouth and half of my lip attached to my nose, breathing and drinking in life was radically challenging and required special bottles instead of nursing from my maternal source and, of course, a special surgeon to “make me normal” like all of the other babies born with the innate way to eat and breath.

Did I choose this life? I know that I did, even if I cannot remember why. Am I choosing to stay to find out why? 100% you bet your bottom dollar I am! Born to struggle to survive only to remember how to thrive and then do it all over again? Hmmm, this does sound like Growth and Expansion to me!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I fall under the category called “Other,” aka Outside of the Box. I call myself an Advocate, a Muse, a Modern-day Mind Medicine Woman. I am a highly attuned, extremely intuitive, and gifted multi-passionate facilitator of many natural, holistic, and quantum tools, all organic and biological-in-nature.

I serve as a bridge between dimensions and here to expand consciousness as a guide for the mind and its body, playing the role of minister, multi-dimensional counselor, holistic life advisor, influential muse, curator of cutting-edge consciousness, modern-day Medicine Woman, the catalyst for your next big leap in life, and an Arousing Spark who ignites your radical awakening.

I swirl in with eclectic “Mary Poppins-esque” wind to sprinkle life’s medicine with practical play. Clients and friends alike walk away feeling like Baby in the after-hours cabin in Dirty Dancing, “What actually just happened?” they say.

I am here to empower humans AND animal companions through life’s (and death’s) transitions. I am known for my courageous and fearless, out-of-the-box approaches with one mission in my heart: to help you wake up to remember why you came. I have devoted much of my time, heart, and attention to collaborating with dogs and their waking human parents to open new doors of possibility for their life experiences here on Earth.

One of my sacred passions and gifts is to serve as a consultant for conscious transitions as an End-of-Life Doula for Animal Companions. My heart lights up when I assist an animal’s transition into non-physical, especially when I help convey messages to an animal’s human to co-design a life (or death) filled with magical, unique, and Divine experiences. Through my extensive paws-on real-life (and dying) experiences, what I have realized over and over again is that animals find me to guide me to their human companions who want something more out of life (and death) and in need of a breath of fresh air, a proverbial splash of “Wake-the-Paws-Up!”

I am the one who shows up unexpectedly with surprises (just like I was born) and the one people and the animal kingdom go to when they have exhausted all other options. I am a mirror for those who seek an enlightened path into the heart of healing and grandiose Wake-Ups!

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
The HOW is easy to implement and challenging to be still with. The magical key to cracking the code is to ASK.

When we remember what it was like to be an innocent child who wondered about every little detail of life and spent our days asking “Why?” and “How come?” without concern, before we were shamed for asking, we will unlock any door that appears to be shut.

The journey is in the asking AND the “be-stilling with” the unfolding and receiving. Ah… this is the grandiose challenge and the grandest opportunity of abundance, isn’t it?
