Life & Work with Aliyah Gamez of Casa Grande, Arizona

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aliyah Gamez.

Aliyah Gamez

Hi Aliyah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Hi, my name is Aliyah Gamez. I started my photography business almost 3 years ago! I decided to turn my passion and love for taking pictures into a business. It wasn’t until I got married that I realized how much I loved being behind the camera and capturing all the special authentic moments with my clients. A little bit more about me- I was born and raised in Arizona my whole life, married to the love of my life & love all the girly things in life, iced coffee obsessed & most importantly, I love Jesus.

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been easy, but my love for photography has grown, and I have learned so much about myself, and it truly has been a blessing to have started this business; even through some of the darkest times in my life, my photography business was my escape.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a self-taught photographer. I specialize in photography Maternity + Family + Couples+ Seniors. I am most proud of the growth of my business. Sometimes we get caught up with everything needing to be perfect when we start, but that’s not true. I always look back and wish I could give myself a big hug. What sets me apart is my deep love for capturing authentic love, always putting 100% into everything I do, and my dedication to never giving up and believing in myself.
