Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan McCulloch.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I became interested in metaphysics during the early ’90s. I was always in a place of healing from abandonment and traumatic childhood experiences, I was constantly searching for ways to grow and heal. While working as a bartender in Newport Beach, I met a man who was a “channel.” While this was not my first experience with paranormal, I had seen psychics read tarot cards, dabbled in astrology, and was cognizant of my own abilities to read situations, people, and sometimes their thoughts, George was inspiring to me, this was something new to me. I was so very excited, and perhaps even feeling validated, to meet someone who had information channeled through them. I could FEEL the energy. George became a great resource to me, I listened to recorded sessions, and we chatted for hours about life, and perspectives. Life went on, I choose to work as a professional artist, got married and became busy with children, who had their own issues to be resolved, and I put myself on the back burner. There, I simmered, on hold, waiting.

From time to time, I would sneak back into myself, looking still for resolve. It was in 2011, I had an event that really woke me up. The world started to spin, literally, and I was rushed to the hospital as my speech was garbled, and my husband thought I was having a stroke. The doctors could find nothing wrong, quite the opposite. I was ever so healthy! The event brought me back to my time with George. I began seeking Guru’s of many types, from all over the world. I worked with Energy Healers, Meditation Specialists, High-Level Mindfulness Coaches, Psychics, Intuitives, Mediums, went thru Yoga Teacher Training, and Yoga Nidra Certification. I was feeling fantastic! I even went off to New Zealand to further experience in healing. In the midst of this, I was creating a problem I couldn’t see. I had abandoned my family. It took many years to repair that damage. And this became not only another huge awakening, but it also grounded me into what I am today and brought me full circle into my own healing. Through my behavior of trying so hard to heal myself, from trauma and abandonment, I created the same situation for my family. I discovered “the cure for the pain was in the pain.” I became Reiki certified, and used Reiki and Energy Healing to bring our family back together. It was a long road, and hugely rewarding.

In 2018, I became aware of The Emotion Code and quickly decided to become a certified Emotion Code Practitioner. Through The Emotion Code, we clear past emotional energies that are stored inside the body. My clients are all ages and walks of life, from children to attorneys, Doctors, and grandmothers, even animals. The results have been amazing and mind-blowing! We built a healing Casita so I can be close to family as needed, Family always comes first now. I have learned that as we love into others, we love into ourselves. Working in the healing arts has amazed me in ways I never thought could happen. I live in a place of gratitude these days, and no longer search for answers, although, I think I will always be in search of expansion and growth through learning and experience.

Has it been a smooth road?
I wouldn’t say there have been struggles, only opportunities for growth. The challenges that have presented have mostly been me getting in the way of me, and self doubt. Once you have a vision and FEEL that vision is authentically you, just run with it. Eat the frog. We are our biggest saboteurs. Also, seek out like-minded individuals for support. Feeling enthusiasm from others will lift you to continue to move forward.

Sure! I love sharing with others about Energy Healing. Teaching is a passion. Workshops, classes, experiences, and retreats are offered regularly in addition to sessions. The goal is to reach as many people as possible, to get as many on the road of healing. My vision is healing for all, to create unity through self-responsibility. Once each of us performs at this level, we can see others too have similar struggles. It is from our own healing we cultivate compassion. In my workshops, I teach people how to do this, how to heal, how to unify and how to connect. Often times, there is not a fee for these services, rather an exchange of energy through one’s own healing. The way I see it, if we all heal, we all level up together, as a species. We built a healing Casita and Sound Garden where I offer private and group Healing experiences. The property is surrounded by fruit trees, healing plants and herbs, and a REIKI pool.

Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
YES! My story began with abandonment, and as a child, experienced a lot of trauma. As a teen, I was bullied and decided then, I wouldn’t put up with it anymore. I became determined to create my destiny. It was the seed of motivation for my own healing. Later, my birth mother found me. It was this reunion that inspired me to offer healing to others.
