Life and Work with Kim Chambers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Chambers.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kim. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
For years, I’ve thought about becoming an Esthetician but always found an excuse not to pursue it. One day, it just hit me and I decided to get out of my comfort zone and pursue my dream. After graduating and getting my license, I got my first job at the largest spa in town! I started off excelling and moving up in the company until the unexpected happened. I woke up one morning to get ready for work and noticed I received a text message from the company. The text was sent out to over 100 employees stating the company had to shut down immediately and I had to come to pick up my belongings. I was devastated. I was so happy that I finally found a career/Spa I loved to have it all end. To fast forward, I ended up working for other spas/waxing companies and I just wanted more. I wanted to own my own business! So, that brings me to where I am today. I’m the proud owner of Beauty Reload LLC. I still have a ways to go but I’m growing and learning more and more every day!

Has it been a smooth road?
With owning your own business you will have a lot of ups and downs. The key is to stay focused on the end goal. Having a positive attitude is everything! Just know with hard work and dedication anything is possible.

At Beauty Reload, I specialize in Advanced Facial Treatments and Full Body Waxing. I’ve picked up a lot of experience and education throughout my journey of being an Esthetician and I’m applying it to my business. One thing about me is that I’m a very passionate person. I connect so well with every client I meet. My client’s feel so comfortable and confident that I will provide them with excellent service and informative product knowledge.

Which women have inspired you in your life? Why?
The women who have inspired me in my life are my mother and sister. My mother started off as a teacher for an elementary school and worked her way to becoming a Superintendent for Roosevelt Elementary School District. She showed me the true definition of hard work and dedication. My sister has the same work ethic and has accomplished so much with her career of being the Vice President of Marketing for the BBB. These women are amazing and I am so blessed to have them to look up to!
