Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmin Jackson.

Jazmin, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started Jaidahwest Consulting as a way to provide top of the line support to small businesses with big dreams. I have 15 years of office support a Bachelor’s degree in business management and a soft spot for entrepreneurs.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Believing that I was capable and deserving of having my own business was the greatest struggle I’ve had to overcome. Once I gained the confidence I needed to leave a company that I was very comfortable working for and take a leap of faith, the fear forced me to adopt an attitude of achievement. I decided to channel the energy effort and hard work I put into supporting the dreams of the firm I worked for several years into my own dream. The greatest thing I did for myself and my business was creating a detailed. From that plan, I made a list of 10 small goals that served my plan, for every goal I accomplish, I replace it with another. This keeps me engaged, excited and never complacent.

Please tell us about Jaidahwest Consulting.
My businesses focus is providing fortune 500 support to all our clients. My services vary from basic office managerial duties like filing to compliance training. Audit preparation is my specialty. Aiding businesses in staying compliant no matter the industry and helping them prepare for audits is what I do best. Being able to help in those stressful times gives me great satisfaction. What sets me apart from most consultants is my emphasis on building and maintaining the relationships with my clients. Their belief in my ability and intentions is something I establish from the beginning, giving them a sense of security and unity every small business needs.

Who have you been inspired by?
Oprah, Beverly Johnson, and Michelle Obama are the women who inspire me the most. Their humble beginnings and work ethics resemble my own. They all have had an abundance of success despite the many hurdles they had to face throughout life. What I find most inspiring about these women is their endless efforts to support, celebrate, encourage and inspire other women.
