Today we’d like to introduce you to Bethany Campbell.
Bethany was born in Gig Harbor, Washington. She spent her childhood growing up in Seattle & Scottsdale, Arizona. She attended Arizona State University as well as Grand Canyon University and graduated with a Master’s in Business. She quickly found a love for design that has become her passion. Bethany is a lifestyle journalist, founder, and editor of The Posh Home blog. As a wife and mompreneur of two young girls, she has taken her passion for creating beautiful spaces and shares her spark and knack for design with others.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been the easiest road starting a business. It has taken so much work over the last few years taking my blog, The Posh Home to the next level. My advice would be with starting a business is that it takes time, be kind to yourself, never stop learning, and put your all into it. Doing what you love is incredibly rewarding. My suggestions would be to create a game plan, each month track your progress, focus on new skills, and qualities that will help your business. Surround yourself with people who inspire you and build a community either in person or virtually where you help each other grow.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Posh Home – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My passion is in interior design, remodeling homes, and sharing pieces of my life on my lifestyle blog – The Posh Home. I love transforming spaces and enjoy a good challenge. I have been blessed to be featured in Fit Pregnancy, as a finalist on Project Nursery twice, and had my previous remodel featured in USA Today. I enjoy writing and sharing pieces of my life through my blog. I am proud to be a part of an incredible online community and to have such a loyal following.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
My parents always taught me if I want something in life to work for it. My dad was my business mentor over the years. He always encouraged me to go for my goals and to dream. Goals will become your reality if you work for them!
