Life and Work with Andrea Blake

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Blake.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve always wanted to travel for a living! It started with flight attendant interviews, pilot lessons, literally anything I could do to fly for free. I tried it and if I didn’t see myself loving that particular career, I would move on to the next.

Eventually, I started following travel bloggers on Instagram and would direct message them to get a hold of any information I could; such as how they get paid, who to contact, etc.

Not entirely knowing what I was doing, I started working on my own travel blog. I learned how to purchase a domain name and create a WordPress. I met up with other bloggers to see what and how they managed their success. I did anything I could to learn more!

I started traveling a lot more and blogging/Instagraming about my experiences. I got a lot of attention because all of my travels were based on saving money and sightseeing the city within 72 hours; anywhere from Dallas, TX to Orlando, FL.

Over time, I realized how much I loved to stay local with hiking, restaurants, road trips, etc. This reality check started getting me more and more reorganization with more and more companies based in Arizona.

Now, I content write for a number of magazines, I have become an Arizona based influencer and I own my own business doing brand management and content production.

I have come such a long way in the past few years – I cannot wait to see where life takes me!

Has it been a smooth road?
Not always – there have been days when I was waning to give up and just forget about it. Then, I would take a moment and realize how much my work has paid off so far and it got me going again.

My advice for others is to NEVER GIVE UP! If you want it bad enough you will do anything you can to keep your business going. Hard work pays off – If it were easy, EVERYONE would be doing it!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Andrea Blake – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Over time I have become a jack of all trades!

Brand Manager: This includes me managing different brand/business Instagram accounts. I gain them followers and traction to their business.

Content Producer: A business comes to me with a product or idea and I make it happen by hiring the correct people for the job. I have a photo and film crew I hire for these projects.

Social Media Influencer: Companies invite me in to experience what they have to offer and I then bring it to my followers who then experience it for themselves. This can be anything from hiking gear, restaurants, clothing, resorts, etc.

Content Writer: I content write for a number of magazines in Arizona. Mainly about travel, hiking and food!

What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Take risks and do anything that makes your scared. If you’re scared of it, CHASE IT!
