We’re looking forward to introducing you to Noelle Townsley. Check out our conversation below.
Noelle, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
I would have to say integrity, although intelligence is up there as a close tie.
Integrity builds morale, trust, and loyalty; all qualities that are important in ALL aspects of your life. You need integrity in business. Being known as fair, trustworthy, and honest are HUGE values that bring a lifetime of peace and goodness. Integrity in your personal life means you are caring and honest with your loved ones and can be counted on. Integrity in your friendships builds close bonds that give you meaningful lifetime friends.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Fresh From The Kitchen catering is a woman owned, chef driven, minority owned company offering full service catering for weddings, social, and corporate events. Emphasis on natural, high quality ingredients, ‘a taste of perfection!’ is the company motto and is the ideology behind the passion. We use minimally processed fresh food, USDA hormone and antibiotic free meats, locally sourced produce and goods when possible, and as much organic and always all natural ingredients too. We have catered celebrity events like the Maxim Superbowl Party and Will Smith’s 50th Birthday Party to name a few!!
Noelle Townsley is the culinary trained business owner of Fresh From The Kitchen. She studied locally at Phoenix College receiving a dual associates degree in food service administration and culinary studies. Having a passion for creating delicious food from a young age, Noelle knew it was her destiny to be a business owner and delight the public’s palate. Although she did not start this company alone in 2008, she is continuing as sole owner and has plans to expand and continue to grow.
Further, Noelle has a little boy and girl that are her pride and joy named Benjamin and Isabel plus four stepkids. One of her favorite foods is popcorn. She loves making great food, and styling events. And she travels, reads, and binge watches Netflix when she has free time with her husband and family.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
A dreamer. I always dreamed of being accomplished! I always imagined I may even be famous one day. Although fame has not found me, I still dream and imagine wonderful futures for myself. It is a lovely little past time. 🙂
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. More than once. Not so much ready to completely throw in the towel, but fear of not succeeding or making it. 2020 was quite the year for thinking it was time to re-think my career.
Opening and closing a beautiful wedding venue just this past year has been a sad chapter for me.
Having competition be so fierce and competitive has made it a somewhat cutthroat environment for catering; and that is scary!!
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Not entirely. I believe privately I am more quiet, less outgoing. Protector of my peace, privacy, and quiet time.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
Spending enough time with my kids and family, traveling more, living authentically and for happiness. So, I need to make sure to make that a regret of the past.
