Jason , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What battle are you avoiding?
Saying no to more things in life. My New Year’s resolution has been to say “no” to more projects, opportunities, and responsibility. However I’ve failed on this resolution the last two years. 2026 is the year I finally nail this.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m full time in the Electronic Dance Music industry doing a number of things from partnerships, sponsorships, artist management, consulting, and anything else that falls in that World. Empowered Management has really been the culmination of all my experiences as in Artist Management you really get to utilize a number of skillsets instead of just specializing in one thing as in many other roles. You have to adapt and adjust to be whatever the project needs you to be at that stage of growth. Some days you’re a booking agent, other days you’re marketing, merchandising, graphic designer, you name it.

Empowered Management right now is a tight knit artist management group currently representing 4 Touring Artists in Ekonovah, Polar Bears, Carrie Keller, and Ward Andrews. Over the years we’ve driven millions of streams, toured the world, and have played Festivals like EDC, Bonaroo, RISE, Decadence, and many more.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My Dad was hands down the person who instilled my work ethic in me. My dad worked manual labor in construction and I saw first hand how hard he would work on the jobsite. Additionally my dad played professional baseball which was something I did before falling into the music industry. He really taught me my work ethic through sports and applying myself there which led to a college scholarship and many other opportunities. “There’s finishers and then there’s quitters” my Dad used to always say. I always am to finish anything I apply myself to.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I can’t count how many times during this Journey I thought I was going to have to call it quites. Three times in particularly I almost ran out of money running my first entertainment company in the industry and thought I was going to be forced to quit to do that. Other times it just felt like I couldn’t get things to go my way or had too many failures stacking up where I just thought it maybe wasn’t meant to be. Luckily things worked out and I got to write a different story.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Honestly, my Artists I manage. Seeing their dreams through is the number one goal and however I can support that mission and empower them to get to their greatest heights is something I will do my whole life until it happens. The only way to fail is to quit, plain and simple. The reason the logo of Empowered is a Mountain is that I truly believe I am helping these people conquer their climbs to their goals.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days. 
I think ever since I left my corporate job to pursue a full time career in the music industry I’ve felt this way. I wake up every singel day and work on the things I want to work on that give me purpose and feed my passion. Gratitude is as simple as I can put it.
