Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Claudia Molinar

We recently had the chance to connect with Claudia Molinar and have shared our conversation below.

Claudia, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
I choose integrity above all, It is the compass that guides my intelligence and energy. Without integrity, brilliance can be empty and effort can be wasted. With integrity, every action I take is aligned, true, and meaningful.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Claudia Molinar, and I am the proud owner of Claude & Co. Salon, which I have been running for the past four years. With 16 years of experience as a stylist, I have dedicated my career to mastering the art of color, specializing in blondes and extensions. Beyond my work behind the chair, I am passionate about education and growth within the industry, which is why I also lead color trainings to share knowledge and techniques with other professionals. My goal is always to help clients and fellow stylists feel confident, inspired, and empowered through the beauty industry.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Bonds are broken by neglect, ego, and betrayal. They are restored by truth, humility, and love in action.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering teaches us lessons that success never can. While success can validate our abilities and bring joy, suffering strips away illusions and reveals what truly matters. It humbles the ego, awakens compassion for others, and strengthens resilience in the face of difficulty. Through suffering, we discover depths of courage, patience, and faith that triumphs cannot uncover. In many ways, success shows us how high we can rise, but suffering teaches us how deeply we can grow.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people today are getting it wrong by mistaking information for wisdom, speed for progress, and being right for being whole.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people tell the story of how I lived with authenticity and heart, that I made others feel seen, inspired them to believe in themselves, and left every space brighter than I found it. That my life was not just about what I created, but about the love, courage, and light I shared along the way.
