Hi Benjamin, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I wake up early in the morning. I like to wake up just before the sun rise. I like to go in my living room, put a mat on the floor, start the “beach house” playlist music on my radio, and getting warmed up doing my yoga. Then I drink water with lemon juice, get dresed and shaved. Finally I kiss my wife and I go to work.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a professionnal firefighter in France. I live in the south west of France, on the Atlantic Ocean coast. I draw since I’m little. I sign my sketches and my drawings by my surname Ben TMF. I like to make drawings for the fire departments and for the fire houses. Most of the times people ask me for fire station logo. But I can make logos for other groups too. You can see what I do on my Facebook page or on my Instagram. Most of the people who want a drawing from me contact me by social media.
I am trying to put inside a logo all the differents things that represent a fire house. Like the station area, the special equipement, the colors of the region, and most of the time I draw a specific character or mascot in the middle that remind us the place. It take me around 4 hours to realize a logo. Today, I’ve been making logos for France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Canada and a few in the USA.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I ‘ve always wanted to be a firefighter. Since I am little I want to fight fires and I made everything to become a firefighter. I couldn’t do something else.

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
I used to take a paper and a pen and draw.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes I am with the public like I am in real life or with my family. I talk the way I talk. I am not hiding behind some character.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I am always thinking about “what if”. That’s why I do everything to have good times with my wife and kids. This is why we decided to move to another country and discover a new culture. This is why we go surfing everytime we want. This is why we take advantage of evrey moments in family and friends.
