Inspiring Conversations with Zoey Greco of The Zoey Greco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoey Greco.

Hi Zoey, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ironically, I didn’t always foresee that this would be my path. I did, however, feel deeply in my spirit that I was different from those around me. Never quite able to fit in, I was a little girl who felt everything like it pierced through the surface of life and settled into something ancient inside of me. I could see what others didn’t. I could feel the emotions of people and the energy of spaces down to the air between us. I heard the unsaid things and often spoke them aloud. During bath time, I told my mom about my past lives and asked for oracle cards instead of toys. From a very young age growing up in New York, renowned intuitives told my family I was gifted. At the time, I didn’t know what that meant. I was just being myself.

Eventually, the world showed me that being myself was too much. Too loud, too soft, too sensitive, too emotional. I learned how to shrink. I softened my voice and tucked away the parts of me that felt like they took up too much space. When that didn’t bring me the safety or love I longed for, I tried something else. I built armor. I made myself untouchable and controlled the way I was perceived. I thought that if I could become everything people expected of me, maybe I would feel at home in myself. Nothing ever brought me closer to the truth. What finally did was surrender.

In college, my intuitive abilities intensified to the point that I could no longer ignore them. I was overwhelmed by how much I could feel and see. I realized I wasn’t meant to escape this part of me. I was meant to embody it.

While those around me were applying to be Fulbright Scholars and being accepted into prestigious graduate schools, I turned away from academia in pursuit of my deeper desires. I moved to Arizona from California to study alternative healing and spiritual wellness. I started my business in 2015, guided by the highest desires of the starry-eyed, bohemian dreamer I was. At just 24 years old, I wanted nothing more than a small office where I could sling oracle cards, grid crystals, and lay hands to heal people who needed tender support on their spiritual journeys.

That simple dream expanded in ways I never could have imagined. I now work remotely from my home in Phoenix with a global client base. I became one half of one of Phoenix’s most beloved sound healing duos, self-published two oracle decks, and launched a top 1% podcast that now reaches listeners all over the world. My dream evolved into a reality beyond what I ever let myself consciously hope for.

I grew up in this work and let it grow up with me. Over time, I noticed a thread in every session I held. No matter who I was sitting with, they were all asking the same question in different words. How do I hear myself. How do I trust what I know. How do I set myself free.

That changed everything for me. I realized I wasn’t here just to give people messages from Spirit. I was here to help them remember how to receive those messages on their own.

Today, I guide sensitive, spiritually gifted souls back to the truth of who they are. I help them peel away the layers they were never meant to carry and come home to their own intuition. My work is not about becoming something new. It is about remembering who you already are. Remembering that changed my life, too. I am honored every day to help others return to themselves.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey of any self-employed person is never smooth, but I’ve learned to lovingly befriend fear and see her as a sign that I’m moving closer to my personal truth.

Along the way, I’ve had to lay to rest so many versions of myself I worked hard to build and project into the world. I’ve grieved identities I once clung to and surrendered dreams that no longer fit. There have been seasons where I questioned everything, where I couldn’t hear my own intuition through the noise of fear and self-doubt. There were months when I wasn’t sure if the investments I was pouring into personnel and professional growth would yield the returns I needed in order to keep going. As a business owner, I’ve often made big leaps, financially and emotionally, before there was a net to catch me. The voice of my Higher Self always whispered words of encouragement that helped me keep choosing this path. I feel deeply grateful that I never lost sight of the importance or the joy in this work.

What people don’t often see is how much of this path is invisible. The hours spent learning how to hold space for others without abandoning myself. The initiations that cracked me open in ways no training ever could. The deep inner work required to stay clear, to stay rooted, to stay honest. Part of building a genuinely aligned life is the willingness to be truthful with yourself when it’s time to release something that once served you but has since grown into misalignment.

Every struggle has deepened my commitment, and every detour has brought me closer to myself. I would not change any of it. I feel so lovingly stretched by Spirit through every chapter of this journey, and profoundly grateful for the ways I have grown because of it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At the heart of everything I offer is the belief that we are not here to become someone new. We are here to remember who we already are. So many of us have been shaped by expectation, performance, and survival that we lose touch with our own voice. My work exists to help people return to that voice, to reconnect with the part of themselves that has always known the way.

I support sensitive, spiritually curious souls in strengthening their intuition, reclaiming their truth, and creating lives that feel aligned from the inside out. Through one-on-one intuitive sessions, numerology readings, digital self-study bundles, and my signature program called The Intuition Activation Mentorship, I create spaces where people can build a deeper relationship with themselves and with Spirit.

Over the years, people have come to know my work for the care and clarity I bring into each session. Clients often describe the experience as feeling seen on a soul level, as if someone finally put language to something they have always felt but never been able to say. Rather than positioning myself as someone who holds the answers, I see myself as someone who helps others access the wisdom they already carry.

My work blends intuitive development with grounded spiritual practice. I specialize in helping people learn to hear and trust their inner voice, especially when that voice has been buried under years of doubt, noise, or people-pleasing. This work is not about becoming more spiritual. It is about becoming more yourself.

What sets my work apart is the way it makes space for both depth and gentleness. The intention is never to fix or force anything. The intention is to create a space safe enough for people to remember who they are and feel brave enough to live that truth.

Over the last decade, I have had the privilege of serving thousands of clients across the world, self-publishing two sold-out oracle decks, and growing The Higher Self Hotline into a top-ranked podcast that brings spiritual insight and intuitive guidance to a global audience. While I am deeply grateful for these milestones, what matters most to me is knowing that people walk away from this work feeling more connected to themselves. That is the true success.

Whether someone comes to me for healing, clarity, or intuitive growth, my intention is always the same. I want them to feel safe enough to trust themselves again. I want them to know that what they have been searching for has always lived inside them.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success is truly knowing contentment while continuing to seek the edges of your potential. It is the ability to master the duality of feeling good enough exactly as you are, and still choosing to grow…not in pursuit of worth, but as an act of self-love. Real success is evolving because you cherish yourself, not because you believe achievement will finally allow you to.

In my personal life, I see my successes in my joyful and overflowingly loving marriage. I see success in the deep healing and closeness of my once strained or troubled relationships (especially with myself). The freedom I’ve been able to gain for myself. The ability to wake up and do as I please every single day. The community of chosen family that I have cultivated. The willingness to let myself evolve without expectation or pressure of who I believe I “should” be. Most of all, I experience my success in the changed lives of my clients. I meet people in their most painful and vulnerable states, and have the honor of loving them until they love themselves enough to choose their joy instead of their fear.
