Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Medina.

Hi Sarah, We’re thrilled to have a chance to hear your story today. Before we get into specifics, please briefly describe how you got to where you are today.
Hi, I’m Sarah! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing right when the pandemic started when everybody was firing instead of hiring. I had no luck with a job in my field and had bills to pay, so I decided to take it into my own hands. I came across a TikTok discussing virtual assisting, invested in a course, and started marketing myself on Instagram as a virtual assistant. I then started a photography business as well. I am now a social media manager, strategist, and content creator offering marketing services to businesses and brands. I’m also a Phoenix photographer documenting weddings, couples, and grads and capturing people’s most memorable moments. I’m in my fourth year for both businesses and love it.

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely could have been a smoother road. Some struggles have been inconsistent income, comparing myself to others, and transitioning both businesses to a different state. Every obstacle teaches me something, makes me stronger, and I always find solutions, so I’m ready for all the hurdles that come with being a business owner because it is not easy.

As a social media manager, strategist, and content creator, I love to help businesses grow through the power of social media. I offer Instagram management, strategy sessions, in-person content creation, and more. My favorite offer is CEO Content Day, which is when we create your month of content in one day. As a Phoenix photographer, I love documenting lives and telling people’s stories. I focus on weddings, couples, grads, birthdays, maternity, and just-because sessions.
