Hi PAOLA, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with a passion for helping people feel confident and healthy in every aspect of their lives. begging with myself. Over the years, I realized that true well-being is multifaceted—it’s about physical health, appearance, and emotional confidence. This inspired me to create a space where all these elements come together, with specialists in nutrition, aesthetic medicine, dentistry, and physiotherapy working in harmony.

Building this clinic has been a labor of love, fueled by the desire to make a difference in people’s lives. It’s not just about providing treatments; it’s about creating an environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and supported. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing the transformation in our patients—not just physically, but also in the confidence and happiness they radiate after their treatments.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built as a team and grateful for the trust our patients place in us every day. This journey is about more than professional success; it’s about making a meaningful impact and helping people become the best version of themselves.

My business started 5 years ago, what I always looked for was to be close to the border, for all the patients who come from the United States to be treated in Nogales Sonora, two years ago we decided to expand and add more specialties and services to our clients. It has been a long journey, when I started, I had my office in my house and I came to my patients here, then I moved to another larger place close to the border, but it was still not where I wanted, nor did I project the service that I would provide. I wanted to give to my clients. Then the idea occurred to my husband and I to create this “BESEM” clinic in which he, specialized in aesthetic medicine, I would be in general and aesthetic dentistry, Gaby, who is a nutritionist specialized in weight control in bariatric patients. , Jesel with a specialty as a general dentist and specialist in Endodontics, and finally Jessman, a physiotherapist. We came to this idea because we firmly believe that in the city of Nogales there was no place like the one we proposed, in addition to a place where our clients will get comfortable, luxurious attention, but most importantly; personalized and with experts in each area.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not, starting as people trying to start a business during the COVID pandemic, that didn’t help much. We believe that growing little by little has helped us all value what we have today, it is never easy to undertake because it is a long path of perseverance, patience and discipline, if we are where we are today it is thanks to all the effort we we have done over the years and today it is bearing fruit. We have been very blessed to have many good people who have supported us along the way.
