Inspiring Conversations with Paige Ellsworth of Precision Skin Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Ellsworth.

Hi Paige, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
My nursing journey started with earning my CNA license in high school and my Bachelor’s in Nursing at ASU. Now, I am studying for my Master’s at Frontier Nursing University. My aesthetics journey also started in high school. Like most teens, I suffered from acne but got it under control with multiple modalities. However, near the end of nursing school, I started experiencing adult acne. A few dermatologists later and some research, I was able to clear up my skin. I knew then that I wanted to help others feel better about their skin, so I started my aesthetics training. I got certified in Botox, fillers, PRP, and microneedling. I later completed a nurse injector apprenticeship and have numerous trainings coming soon. Being from a long line of female entrepreneurs and helping them with their businesses, I knew I wanted to open my medical spa. My goal is to help individuals feel confident in their skin, whether clearing up acne or preventing wrinkles from forming.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Balancing school and work can be a struggle. I am becoming a nurse practitioner to expand the options available to treat my clients’ concerns. Some prescription medications can be used in conjunction with aesthetic treatments to take a more comprehensive, beneficial approach to skin issues. Taking a full course load, answering phone calls, going to tradeshows, posting on social media, and all the things involved with school and business can be a lot. It will be worth it after graduation!

What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see aesthetics going hand-in-hand with wellness. Hormone replacement, weight loss, health coaching, IV hydration, personal training, meal prep companies, and other businesses could all collaborate to offer more comprehensive services for clients. There are so many facets of health, and no place currently provides everything in one location. Things are also starting to head more naturally, with celebrities dissolving fillers and removing implants so I believe aesthetics will follow suit.
