Inspiring Conversations with Nora Tapia of Rx Therapeutics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nora Tapia.

Nora, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey to becoming a massage therapist started when I was 17. I was a young mom and knew I needed to do something with my life. I graduated from massage school when I was 18 and needless to say I fell in love straight after. I worked in chiropractic offices and one pain clinic.

My time at those offices showed me I had a passion for helping those who have high-stress jobs, injuries, chronic pain, or are just looking to forget the world in the time they’re with me. When the pandemic hit in 2020 I ventured off and opened up my own business. Rx therapeutics was something I was willing to invest my time in full-heartedly.

The following year. I moved to Arizona and have had the best experience starting my business from Scratch all over again. It was challenging, rewarding, stressful, and humbling all at the same time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle for me was moving to a state where I knew absolutely no one and having to start my business from scratch.

When I lived in California I knew a bunch of people who supported me and made it so much easier to grow my business but that was not the case in az. Not having any support, or marketing experience was a major roadblock

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I provide therapeutic massage to those who suffer from chronic pain, high-stress jobs, or anyone looking to forget the world around them during the hour they’re with me.

I’m proud of RX therapeutics because my overall goal is to expand and hopefully be able to help other therapists achieve a level that they never thought possible. While utilizing cupping therapy, the Gaston technique, fascial stretch therapy, and a few other modalities it gives me the best opportunity to help each client to the best of my ability. Helping others move and feel better is freeing.

What does success mean to you?
Success to me means feeling like I’ve made an impact on someone’s life. To give as much as I can to those who need it and To live a life with as much peace and love.
