Today we’d like to introduce you to Makenzie And Dallas Klenke

Hi Makenzie and Dallas, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Kenzie’s Kids is the fruition of a dream that started in high school. A vision was formed to create a business that enabled individuals of all abilities to achieve not only their physical goals, but address social and emotional needs as well. During their time as Special Education teachers, owners Dallas and Makenzie saw how this community of students was underserviced. They longed to provide their students the same opportunities to meet their full potential in a fun environment that enhances each individual’s unique learning abilities. After prayerful consideration, Kenzie and Dallas left their teaching jobs and purchased the necessary fitness equipment to start their mobile gym. A student Kenzie had tutuored for school became their first client. Within several months, clients were steadily increasing. After a bit of Facebook networking and word of mouth, even more individuals, families and homeschool groups had been added to the schedule. Kenzie’s Kids decided to branch out to micro-schools, co-ops and adult day programs. Currently, we have added 5 additional trainers to our team. Currently, over 100 individuals a week are being serviced by the Kenzie’s Kids team. We reach families all across the east and west valley.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Getting our business off the ground did involve some challenges. We initially both had to work additional side jobs to make ends meet as we grew our business. Deciding it was time to step away from these jobs in order to put all of our effort into Kenzie’s Kids was a huge leap of faith. Thankfully, our efforts paid off as we watched our business steadily increase. Any doubts we may have had were quickly dispelled by the joy we had after every session with our amazing clients.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Kenzie’s Kids?
We are a fully inclusive and adaptive mobile gym. We meet the needs of all individuals with all ability levels. We prioritize in addressing the whole mind/body connection. We include left and right brain work, sensory focused exercises, and functional fitness. We are not a typical gym. Since we bring the gym to you, entire families can participate. We are also proud to offer service contracts with schools across the valley. Our most recent exciting news is coming in December of 2024: Our new app, Adapt Fit, will offer dozens of workouts and programs for everyone in the family. Some examples of adaptive workouts will include chair based, step by step instructions, community board and more. This will allow us to reach clients all over the country.

George from the Chandler SBA has been a tremendous help to us from the creation of our business to now. Hs support, guidance and wealth of knowledge has been crucial to helping us navigate the business world. Our families’ belief in our vision and constant show of support has encouraged us along the way. Mostly, we thank God for blessing our desire to help others and allowing our business to be a light in the world.
