Inspiring Conversations with Kevin Farrell of Grateful Glitters

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Farrell. He and his team share their story with us below:

Grateful Glitters was founded in October of 2019 to help fulfill a need for affordable products (specifically polyester glitters) in the tumbler cup and resin craft market.

As a group of friends (Kevin, Jessica (my wife), Donny, Jackie (Donny’s Wife), and another Kevin, we launched our business from our garage, solely selling polyester glitter. Since our launch of 43 colors, we have expanded into a retail store and currently carry over 300 different colors/shapes/cuts of polyester glitter and several other craft supplies.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
As with any business, we have had our ups and downs. None of us had a background in entrepreneurship, so we have had to wing it from time to time.

I would say shipping and supply chain issues have been our biggest struggles over the years. In the craft world, our customers are preparing their products a few months in advance of the next holiday. So we have had to learn to adapt our purchasing and supply choices around that schedule.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are the home of Buy 3 get 1 free glitter, resin molds, and mica powders. We carry a full line of tumblers, cup turners, epoxy, Hyperion (epoxy alternative), resin molds, and much more! We love our customers, we call them our Glitter Family.

We strive to have the absolute best customer service and interact with our customers as much as we can. While we do have a storefront for local customers, we understand that people worldwide have a need for our products as well. Because of this, we strive to ship all products within 24 business hours.

What do you think about happiness?
Watching other people win and succeed in whatever they are doing makes me happy.

It doesn’t matter if it is a random individual or our direct competition. I love seeing this because there is too much negativity in the world, so I get joy from seeing success. Cheering on success will only breed more success.
