Inspiring Conversations with Kathryn Bojchuk of KATALI, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathryn Bojchuk.

Hi Kathryn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my entrepreneur journey as a pediatric nurse after graduating college before realizing I wanted to deepen my awareness of preventative medicine through yoga, mindfulness, & holistic nutrition. I ended up leaving Western Medicine and teaching yoga while going to graduate school full-time for my Master’s in Nutrition & Integrative Health and my certification as a Holistic Health Coach. Fast forward after graduating with my Master’s, I started coaching clients 1:1 and saw firsthand the beneficial role a holistic approach to health takes. I was hooked on changing clients’ lives for the better! At that time, my yoga career started taking off as I began leading Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 200-hour programs, so I put 1:1 coaching on the back burner. But to my surprise, I realized that I could thread holistic principles of wellness into the YTT courses I was facilitating. It birthed my idea of starting a yoga/wellness retreat business where I could marry my three greatest passions: yoga, holistic health, and travel. I led my first luxury retreat in April of 2022 in Scottsdale, AZ, with 18 amazing women who left feeling transformed, rejuvenated, and with a fresh perspective embodying their highest selves. During my business seed planting, I had been contracting with a few companies since 2020, teaching their employees online yoga classes and leading holistic health programs for their corporate wellness sectors. This led me to begin offering corporate wellness programming (yoga & holistic health) as part of my retreat business. KATALI, LLC officially launched in August of 2022 once I moved from Chicago to Scottsdale. I’m currently teaching yoga & YTT at the Biltmore LifeTime while also growing my business in the yoga retreat/corporate wellness world. I am blessed to do what I’m passionate about and get the opportunity to change so many lives for the better along the way!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Entrepreneurship is inherently a rocky road as challenges are bound to come up when disrupting the norm, following your dreams, and setting out for greatness. My biggest challenges were internal self-doubt, limiting myself, thinking small, not feeling worthy of what I was trying to create, etc. This spurred me to dive deeper into the personal development work I was always so drawn towards. Mindset reframing is now one of my expertise areas in coaching, so I knew it was time to apply everything I know to the most difficult client I will ever work with- myself. I spent years doing the hard inner work. I would lock myself in my room and spend countless hours studying personal development, business mindset, the law of attraction, metaphysics, and money mindset, all while getting to know myself on the deepest level. This is my key to success, as on the other side- I am completely rewired and have been effortlessly attracting my opportunities due to the inner work I was so committed to doing. Your greatest challenges in life are always your greatest teachers.
