Today we’d like to introduce you to Kassidy Ries.

Hi Kassidy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my spiritual journey at a crossroads in life — a challenging but pivotal moment where I could either continue on the path I was on or choose to shift, grow, and evolve. This period became my dark night of the soul. In that darkness, I chose to align with the highest good and finally listen to the quiet voice within that I had ignored for so long. That willingness alone was enough for the universe to set me on the path I walk today.

As I opened to greater alignment, the idea of “enlightenment” came into my awareness, and I felt called to pursue it. I began with meditation, radical responsibility, astrology, and manifestation, asking the universe for a gift — and a gift was given. Just after my 25th birthday, while reflecting on the sacred nature of being a woman, a bringer of life, I was struck by a beam of light from God. In that instant, everything shifted — my being expanded and my life was forever transformed.

For the last 2.5 years, I have continued to learn, grow, and remember truths that were within me all along. Today, I help others shift, clear, and rebalance energy, educate on the spiritual journey and the ego–spirit dynamic, and guide experiential workshops. My mission is to open others to profound emotional, spiritual, and energetic healing, creating the clarity and spaciousness needed to deepen their spiritual journey and reclaim their true Self.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been easy, but my perspective has made the road feel smooth. I’ve learned to surrender everything in the way of God and practice devotional nonduality — non-attachment, not labeling things as “wrong,” and instead allowing life to unfold as it’s meant to.

The biggest challenges I’ve faced have been the ones within myself: healing unresolved patterns like codependence and the naivete that sometimes led me to trust people I shouldn’t. Yet even those experiences have been valuable teachers. I see every obstacle as part of my growth journey, and with that perspective, even challenges become opportunities for deeper healing and alignment.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about In Light of Love?
My business, In Light of Love, is rooted in the truth that healing happens when we return to love — love of self, love of others, and love of God. Through energy clearing, rebalancing, and healing, as well as teachings on the spiritual journey and the ego–spirit dynamic, I support people in releasing what no longer serves them and stepping more fully into alignment with their true Self. I also facilitate experiential workshops that weave education with practice, giving people the tools and space to not only understand but truly feel their transformation.

In addition to individual healing, I also help businesses flourish. Often, the owner must first be cleared to open space for growth, but businesses themselves can also hold blocked or stagnant energy that prevents aligned clients and abundance from flowing in. By clearing both the individual and the energetic field of the business, I support greater clarity, alignment, and prosperity on all levels.

What sets In Light of Love apart is the way I hold space. I approach healing not as “fixing” but as remembering — uncovering the light already within. My presence and confidence are part of this: I know I am meant to be doing this work, and that certainty creates a safe, grounded, and powerful container for others to open, heal, and expand.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that In Light of Love isn’t just a business name, but a reflection of my mission and way of being. Everything I offer — whether a one-on-one session, group workshop, business clearing, or spiritual guidance — is designed to bring people closer to clarity, freedom, and joy, empowering them to reclaim their light and walk forward with a deeper connection to love and their highest Self.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was kind, bubbly, and enthusiastic — the type of kid my mom never had to worry about. I was driven and a straight-A student, and most things came easily to me. At the same time, I often felt a little bored, always looking “up” and searching for something more.

I loved spending time in nature, reading, and diving into science, as well as expressing myself through running, painting, and art. Those interests really reflected both sides of me — the curious, analytical part and the creative, expressive part — which have carried into who I am today.
