Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacob Louis.

Hi Jacob, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I dreamed since I was 8 years old to be a lawyer or work somewhere in the sports business but didn’t know where to start. I did face a lot of trouble as a young teen. Losing my mother at a young age to the foster system did a number on my mental capacity and self-confidence.

Felt I wasn’t worthy enough to follow my goals and achievements. My turning point was realizing I was a troubled teen and finding a solution. I joined the United States Marine Corps. The Marines helped me with self-discipline, taking accountability, and rebuilding my confidence.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth ride but mainly a bumpy one. Finding out who to network with and how to connect but at the same time don’t come off too pushy. Building a client base in the sports world is very difficult. You have to find ways to stand out over other agencies.
