Inspiring Conversations with Hannah Gammage of Hannah Gammage- The Mama Coach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Gammage.

Hi Hannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
As a previous teen mom, I knew I didn’t want to let my dream go of being a nurse. I worked hard to graduate and started my career in the Pediatric ICU, eventually moving into the ER and finally the NICU. There I worked in my passion getting to live out my dream of holding one pound miracles in my hands, and teaching mamas how to take care of their babies. Over and over I watched families leave the hospital without the support they really needed when they got home.
That lit a fire in me. I then got married and had more babies of my own, and I wasn’t just mama to one I was mama to mulitple (5 total including twins!) And let me tell you, even with all my training, postpartum hit hard. I had questions. I had tears. I had milk everywhere. I thought, If this is hard for me, how are other moms doing this without help?
I knew my best chance to help people at my highest scope of practice was to become a Nurse Practitioner. I have gained experience in family practice and finally came across a business model that combined EVERYTHING I loved.
The Mama Coach — a global team of Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners who offer assessment-based, judgment-free support to new parents. I knew immediately I’d found my people, and becoming a Mama Coach was the natural next step.
Today, I get to blend my medical experience with my mama heart to support families in one of the most vulnerable seasons of life. I specialize in:
-4th Trimester Mama and Baby Support
-Lactation and bottle-feeding support
-Sleep Training
-Potty Training
-& soon will be releasing an Infertility program where I will help women who are trying to conceive realize their dreams of having a baby of their own.

My goal is always to help moms reconnect with themselves in the chaos of motherhood
I believe in science and snuggles. I believe every family deserves personalized care, and that support shouldn’t end when you leave the hospital.
That’s how I got here — turning my clinical background and motherhood experience into a business that helps families feel confident, capable, and calm as they step into parenthood.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been many struggles in the road to opening my own business- starting with being a single teen mom and trying to have the will to finish my rigorous nursing program. School was also very hard when I had 3 kiddos under 2 at home! With the support of my family and friends, and a dream to one day do something I love I have been able to perceiver.

The next struggle has been marketing, letting people know who I am, my heart, and all of the services I offer! Social media is tough to navigate. Sometimes its hard to keep showing up when you dont know if anyone is watching!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I run a private practice under The Mama Coach, which is more than a business, it’s a mission. A calling. A lifeline for families in one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. I have many services but here is what I am most known and popular for:

– Private In Home CPR Workshops
– 4th trimester Mom and Baby follow ups- vital checks, breast/bottle support, back to work planning, sleep learning
– Sleep Training/Learning
– Potty Training
– Infertility Workup and Early Intervention

What sets me apart:
I bring clinical expertise, years of hands-on hospital experience, and real-life mama empathy to every client. I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I assess, I listen, and I create care plans that work for your unique baby, your goals, and your values.
Plus — I make it easy. My care is convenient, virtual or in-home, and tailored to you. You don’t need another checklist or book. You need someone who’s walked this path and can walk it with you.
Additionally I have the ability to both diagnose and prescribe intervention when necessary all for an affordable cost.
I accept HSA/FSA benefits

What I’m most proud of:
Moms who cry tears of relief because someone finally sees them, & doesn’t brush them off. Whether it has to do with their latch, their sleep, their potty training efforts. I’m most proud that my brand is becoming known for compassionate, evidence-informed care that helps women trust themselves again. Because when we support moms, everything changes not only for them, for their babies, and for the world.

What I want your readers to know:
You don’t have to do this alone, and you don’t have to guess your way through it. Whether you’re expecting your first baby or navigating life with multiple littles, I’m here to support you with real answers and unwavering encouragement.

This is more than coaching. It’s care. It’s community, and I will be the village you were promised!
