Hi Eveline, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into the beauty industry began in 2007 as a medical aesthetician and CMLT, followed by a gradual transition into the world of advanced permanent makeup artistry starting in 2009. It was during this time that I discovered my true passion for enhancing natural beauty through precise, artistic techniques. Over the years, this passion has evolved into a deeper mission: to empower individuals by helping them feel confident and radiant in their own skin. Every step of my journey has been driven by the desire to highlight the unique beauty in each person I work with, fostering self-assurance and inner strength.
In 2017, I took the leap and opened Brow Me Pretty in Scottsdale, Arizona. My goal was to create a space where clients could experience high-quality microblading services that delivered consistent, beautiful results. My focus has always been on providing natural-looking microblading, and I wanted to be the go-to place where clients knew they could trust me to enhance their brows with precision and artistry.
Over the years, I’ve received countless requests from my Instagram followers and others passionate about the field, asking if I would teach. While the timing never felt right until now, I’m beyond excited to finally announce the launch of my Brow Me Pretty Academy, which will soon be licensed by the Arizona State of Postsecondary Private Education, to make sure my students receive a certificate of completion that is recognized by the state. This academy will give aspiring artists the opportunity to learn my self-developed techniques in the art of semi-permanent makeup. My mission is to empower students with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to excel in this rapidly growing industry, and I’m eager to guide them toward achieving their full potential.
I have also authored and published the “Microblading & Nano-Blading Comprehensive Training Manual,” which is a reflection of my years of experience and commitment to ethical and professional practices in the beauty industry. I’ve worked hard to set high standards for myself and the artists I train, blending artistry with precision to create beautiful, natural results that last.
This new chapter is a major milestone in my journey, and I’m excited to continue helping others transform their careers while maintaining the high standards and dedication that Brow Me Pretty is known for. It’s been an incredible ride, and I can’t wait to see where the future takes me and my students.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has certainly had its challenges. While my passion for industry has always fueled my journey, there were moments of uncertainty. As a single mom, I faced the struggle of balancing work with raising my boys, which required both resilience and dedication. At the same time, as the beauty industry evolved, staying ahead with new techniques, tools, and trends demanded continuous learning and adaptation. Building a clientele and establishing trust in such a competitive market was no easy feat. However, each of these challenges became an opportunity to grow, push boundaries, and ultimately find fulfillment in helping others feel confident, empowered, and beautiful.
