Today we’d like to introduce you to Elsa Martinez.

Elsa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin? 
Before I decided to start my own business about 4 years ago, I knew I always wanted to have my own business. I always loved makeup; I love to see the confidence it can give someone and the happiness it can bring to someone.

Serenity Lashes became my baby on August 07, 2020, I was going through a hard moment of depression, and I wanted something to keep myself busy, so decided to start my own business; before I decided to do so, I’ve always had friends who would tell me “why don’t you come out with your own lashes and makeup” I was scared to not succeed, but thankfully I had good friends who supported me and still do.

Serenity Lashes is what it is now; thank you to all the clients who support my dream. I stopped working on Serenity for about a year. I had so much going on that I wasn’t mentally okay to continue working. I took it as a break, but I told myself, “This is a break; make sure you come back hard.”

I think I have done well. I am where I am today because of my dolls, who support my dream, and my girlfriend, who pushes me to be better and give the best to my Serenity family. I have always and will always say this “Serenity Lashes is what it is because of you, you dolls who continue choosing and supporting me “.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing is easy, but you always have to look at the bright side of things. Serenity has had smooth and rough moments I can say that we have moments where there are sales and moments where it is slow and might not make a sale during the week. But not because we don’t make a sale it means we’re giving up, it means we have to work harder and promote more than normal.

The road will be how you work on it, if you don’t put work into your business it’ll be slow and rough… but if you put work into it it’ll be smooth, and remember “hard work will always pay off” so it definitely hasn’t been easy.

Serenity Lashes is a small lash and makeup business. Our business specializes in bringing good quality products as well as trending makeup and lashes. Our brand stands out more from other brands because of our packaging style of lashes and unique makeup products.

We like to offer simple and natural lashes as well as dramatic lashes, we feel that every lash should have you feeling yourself and should have you feeling that you can conquer the world at any time and any day. Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
If we were to be honest, we would say that so many people deserve credit. But I’ll start by thanking God for guiding me and not leaving me when I needed him the most. Also, my girlfriend, who has been my biggest supporter and biggest cheerleader, mentor, and my teammate, helps me with ideas, names, and, most of the time, labeling our products.
