Today we’d like to introduce you to David Prian.

Hi David, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story really started with a big career shift later in life. I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember, and for more than 20 years I worked as a tattoo artist. It was a creative career that I loved, but for a number of reasons I knew I wanted to take a different path.

About 15 years ago, I jumped into website design. At the time, websites were becoming popular, and well, mandatory for businesses. I was fascinated by the creative possibilities of building something visual and functional at the same time. I love that mix. I still enjoy designing websites to this day.

But as I worked with clients, I quickly realized that having a great-looking site was only part of the puzzle. What really mattered was helping people actually find it! That’s when I dove into search engine optimization (SEO). Over the years, I’ve become quite proficient and even am asked to consult and help build SEO strategies for other digital marketing companies. I discovered I had a natural talent for building not just websites, but entire systems that help businesses grow.

Today, I’m the founder and co-owner of Inspired Marketing & Design in Gilbert, Arizona, alongside my business partner and friend, Nick Osborn. Together, we’ve built a full-service marketing agency that combines creativity with strategy to help local businesses stand out and thrive.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t exactly call it a smooth road! haha! But then again, when is building a business ever smooth? Like any entrepreneur, I’ve had my share of challenges and obstacles to push through.

That said, I do feel like I’ve had fewer struggles than some, and I’m grateful for that. Still, there have definitely been seasons of trial and error, learning on the fly, and sometimes (ok most of the time) there has been a large element of Fake Til You Make It! That’s my advice to anyone wanting to start a business. You’re going to have to learn along the way anyway so don’t spend so much time planning and preparing that you miss your moment.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are Inspired Marketing & Design. A full-service marketing agency in Gilbert, Arizona. We help businesses grow by blending creativity with strategy. A beautiful website doesn’t mean much if it can’t be found. But an ugly website that can be found – but doesn’t convert – isn’t any better. We bridge that gap with beautifully designed websites that are highly visible online and convert visitors into customers.

We’re best known for building SEO-optimized websites, local search strategies, paid ads, and social media campaigns. But what really sets us apart is how we always stay ahead of the curve. How has online search evolved? For example, right now, it’s not just on Google, but also AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity. We call this AI Search Optimization, and it’s changing the game for local visibility. Well, and for everything online really.

What I’m most proud of is our consistency at getting results. We don’t just “get lucky”. And we definitely don’t do cookie-cutter marketing. We actually get to know each business, build strategies around their goals, stay agile and ahead of the curve, and create long term relationships with the clients and businesses we help.
