Inspiring Conversations with Cameron MacNeille

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron MacNeille.

Hi Cameron, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From a young age, I always knew I wanted to be in the hair industry. I started out doing friends’ hair for prom and weddings in my teen years. As soon as I graduated high school, I jumped into Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Scottsdale. I had found my passion! I graduated within ten months and had a job secured before I was done with the program. I worked my way up and discovered my strengths and weaknesses. I found a huge passion for extensions after taking my first Waterfall Beaded Row Class in July of 2019. From there, I built a clientele and specialize in WBR extensions, blonding, and bridal styles. I recently became an educator with Waterfall Beaded Row and have created an exclusive VIP package for my clients with extensions.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I felt like I was in an over-saturated market at first. You really have to find your niche in this industry. Luckily I have grown exponentially in the last six months with WBR extensions and am excited for what the future holds!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Hair by Cam Alyse was established in 2017. I specialize in Waterfall Beaded Row extensions and blonding. What I strive to do is transform my clients and build their confidence. I feel true success seeing the look on my client’s face after completing an extension install. My clients can trust WBR and I am fully confident in this method. It really is safe and secure. As our founder, Meg likes to say: “Work Brings Results,” and it does!! I really love this pocket I have found myself in with extensions.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up surrounded by arts (my mother) and entrepreneurs (my father). I was very lucky to have such supportive parents who were stoked to see me reach my goals and constantly making new ones. I feel I am a mix of both of them, an artist and a business owner. If I wasn’t tagging along with the day-to-day with my father, I was sewing or painting with my mother.

Pricing:

  • WBR installation – $375
  • WBR move up – $275
  • Full Babylight – $210
