Inspiring Conversations with Caleb Richardson of Royals Legion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Richardson.

Hi Caleb, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started the idea of my brand at around 16 and the reason why i wanted to start a brand is because i love creating things and i knew i had a skill in art in some way because my mom is a painting artist, i started my official brand at 18 and i am here where i am today because of god, i will always give him credit for that because he gave me the connections needed to make my business successful. The people that helped me get where i am today besides god has been various people, but there are 2 particular people who helped me the most and their names are Darian Terrell and Tiffany Benson.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No not at all, It has been a real journey, i am a very young designer so because i am young people don’t believe me when i say i am a designer. One of the biggest struggles i had along the way has been just believing in myself even when no one else does not that there isn’t people believing in me but more so believing in myself when no one is paying attention. Another struggle i had was, realizing the more i fail the more i learned, i learned that success is failing so many times until you figure out the rhythm and understand it so much that you can replicate it again.

As you know, we’re big fans of Royals Legion. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My Brand is called Royals Legion and there is actually a meaning behind it, Royals – means of high position and Legion – means many, so my brand means Strength in numbers, For my brand i specialize in lifestyle fashion, like jackets, polo shirts, Cargo pants, baggy pants, and other stylish types of fashion. my brand is known for being fun and Unique, i always have free photoshoots every month for local models, what sets me apart from other designers and brands is that i care more about my reputation and legacy than the money and fame. I am proud that i have created a whole community of people who want to have fun and actually enjoy the brand for what it is.. For the Readers, i have Modeling events monthly for free and they are taken professionally by my marketing team so if you guys are interested in modeling that is available. Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years i see myself having my own physical store in person and having an entire team of creatives working together having fun and having my store different from the rest of other retail stores.
