Hi Beth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Being in the Advertising Industry for over 20 years, I’ve had lots of opportunity to fuel my creative side and learn there are lots of ways to Market your business. However, I believe less is more, stay in your lane, focus on your message, know who your consumer is and talk to them…over and over and over again. I started the PLM Agency Jan 3rd 2018 with a solid client following from my radio days, and I have never advertised for more clients. We have been able to grow to a national and international advertising agency with our very first handful of loyal clients. We have built a world around them and in turn they have given us an amazing world of success! We keep it simple, no nonsense & direct. Time is precious so we don’t waste our clients time or ours with fluff and advertising options that are costly and do not work.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I love me some challenges! If you say it can’t be done, I will find a way. If you think your budget is too small, I will make it work, I have been known to put my own money into a marketing campaign and I am always blessed in return. The universe is full of Gratitude and Memory, it will pay it forward! When I think of obstacles, the only one that comes to mind is when one of our Marketing Directors end up leaving their current position to rocket their career, each one brings us with them to the new gig and sometimes the higher ups push back… who is this PLM AGENCY? Why do you want to work with them, why are they needed. This has happened, and we power through the transitions with our people, because we love them and will help them wherever they go on their career paths. Our clients who have worked with us know the value we bring to them, we negotiate lower rates, manage credit terms & pay invoices and not to mention handling the daily grind of campaign and media partnerships management. We love it, we are good at it and we have established a reputation of kindness, but firmness. Our job is to represent our clients at the very best level of integrity, compassion, loyalty and grit. Advertising is our passion, our client’s happiness and success is #1 priority.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
2025 is predicted to be a record year for advertising, we have seen some uncertainty with how much to spend and on what platforms. Political years are always a little weird, but if you have the right decision makers in place in your company and hard working marketing managers that keeps the focus on the ROI. The advertising industry will continue to be a need and called upon when the sale numbers are down. I am addicted to the History Channel Show, The food that built America~ Every single brand that became a household name, made it’s success through advertising! It’s a beautiful thing.
