Today we’d like to introduce you to Beth Freese
Hi Beth, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, but my journey into therapy wasn’t a straight line. After earning my Master’s in Counseling, I spent years working in different settings, gaining experience, and honing my approach. Over time, I realized I wanted to create a space where people felt truly supported in their growth—so I started Evolve Therapy.
Now, I specialize in working with individuals who are looking for meaningful change, whether that’s processing difficult emotions, improving relationships, or just feeling more like themselves again. My approach is warm and supportive while also providing clear, thoughtful guidance to help clients navigate challenges effectively. I believe in getting to the heart of things while also making therapy feel approachable and productive. It’s been an incredible journey, and I feel so grateful to do this work every day!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a completely smooth road, but every challenge has played a role in shaping me into the therapist and business owner I am today. Building a practice takes dedication, patience, and a willingness to adapt. There have been moments of uncertainty—learning how to navigate the business side of things, balancing growth with maintaining the quality of care I provide, and, of course, the natural ups and downs that come with any career.
That said, I see challenges as opportunities for growth. Every obstacle has taught me something valuable, whether it’s how to refine my approach, better support my clients, or create a practice that truly aligns with my values. The journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Evolve Therapy is all about helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change by getting to the root of their challenges. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma and PTSD, those living with chronic pain or chronic illnesses, as well as individuals with ADHD and anxiety. My approach is direct yet compassionate, blending deep insight with practical tools to help clients feel more in control of their lives and well-being.
One of the things that sets Evolve Therapy apart is my focus on addressing the underlying causes of distress, rather than just managing symptoms. I incorporate Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) into my work—a powerful approach that helps process trauma at its deepest levels, including unconscious experiences stored in the brainstem. This method allows clients to truly heal, rather than just cope. Alongside DBR, I integrate other evidence-based modalities that help clients shift old patterns, regulate their nervous system, and build resilience.
I’m most proud of the safe, supportive space I’ve created where clients can do this work at their own pace. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking—it’s about transformation. I actively engage in the process, guiding clients to deeper self-understanding, helping them break free from limiting beliefs, and supporting them in building a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and sustainable.
I want readers to know that therapy isn’t just for times of crisis—it’s a powerful tool for anyone looking to understand themselves more deeply, move beyond what’s been holding them back, and experience greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is helping people truly heal and create meaningful change in their lives. I’m not just interested in surface-level symptom management—I want my clients to experience deep, lasting transformation. This is why I focus on getting to the root of challenges rather than just addressing what’s on the surface.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. So much of what people struggle with—whether it’s trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, or ADHD—is often misunderstood or minimized. I want my clients to know that their experiences are valid and that real healing is possible.
This is also why I use approaches like Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)—because it helps process trauma at a level that many traditional methods don’t reach. Seeing my clients break free from patterns that have held them back and step into a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling is what motivates me every day.
