Hi Angelica , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am a resilient and determined individual who has navigated significant life challenges and emerged stronger. I have a clear vision for my goals, reviewing them daily to ensure consistent progress. My journey includes overcoming a painful divorce due to infidelity, rebuilding my life, and finding happiness with a supportive partner. Financial discipline played a crucial role in her transformation, as I paid off $12k in old debt and learned to live below my means. I spent 27 years as an activity director for seniors, bringing joy and creativity to their lives, while also running a part-time tax preparation business. During the pandemic, I strategically saved $20k and transitioned to online sales, surpassing my previous highest annual income in just seven months. My passion for helping the Hispanic community is deeply rooted in my family’s immigrant background and the experience of translating for my mother in court. Despite losing my mother at 15, I drew strength from my mother’s hard work and the support of my older sisters, which continues to inspire me today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
at some points in my business journey I didn’t think I would make payroll sometimes, because I was so jenarous with my clients that I would give them 30 to 90 days to pay us and that would get me into trouble. But we learned and got better at requesting payment before hand.

Not finding the right staff members can cause stress as well, and then you find the right team members that want to learn and are as hungry as you.
