Inspiring Conversations with Alice Woodard of Printwerx & Gilbert Made by Printwerx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alice Woodard.

Hi Alice, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in the printing industry right out of high school and worked for printing companies thoughout my career. I started Printwerx in 2003 and we provide printing such as; paper, apparel both silk screened & embroidered, large format and promotional products to all types of business clients. Gilbert Made started in 2019, we created a Centennial design because the Town of Gilbert was turning 100 and Gilbert Made was born. Gilbert Made is the retail side of Printwerx that provides Gilbert and Arizona gift items like, t-shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, glasswear, mugs, magnets, jewerly and more to customers. We design and print all of our items. We also offer printed items like wedding invitations, celebration banners, holiday cards and more. We just recently opened a brick & mortar store on the SE corner of Gilbert & Guadalupe, 745 N. Gilbert Rd, Suite 122, Gilbert, AZ 85234. This is where you can find all of our retail items.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is always a struggle to get the word out and market our business. I belong to the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, Local First Arizona and a couple of networking groups to help market my businesses. We are always looking to collaborate with other businesses to help market each other.

I am originally from Illinois and was Miss Congeniality in the Miss McHenry Pageant in my home town. I have been married for 20 years, have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. I have lived in Arizona since 1999 and love Gilbert & Arizona!
