Today we’d like to introduce you to Hanifah Brown.
Hi Hanifah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey in real estate began in 2006 where I embarked on the mortgage finance world and acquired skills in funding, processing and UW quality analysis. In 2014, I decided to step onto the front line to assist homeowners and investors acquiring my real estate license to further expand my knowledge. Within this realm, I quickly learned to fine tune my skills in negotiating the best deals for my clients in retail homeownership along with wholesale acquisitions. Understanding business negotiations but still keeping a balanced touch with my clients has been a natural transition for me as my studies have also led me to earn a degree in Transformational Psychology. This has given me the scope of assimilating and understanding the needs of my clients and translating that into helping to materialize the goals that they have set forth and seeing those plans grown from an idea or concept, to realized homeownership and business acquisitions. Seeing my clients win is my main priority!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
During the course of my real estate career I have faced the challenge of an ever-changing market, yet this has molded me to be open to change and see the opportunity in every transition.
We’ve been impressed with Real Estate, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One thing that sets me apart from other realtors is understanding the art of the deal and ensuring that any client that I work with, becomes a part of my team so I ensure they are treated with care and receive the best deal possible. I do not believe in the “transaction” and tend to focus on the relationship of business. My clients are my priority!
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I noticed the direct correlation of the more effort and consistency that I have put into my brand, the luckier I have become.
