Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronika Lopez.

Hi Veronika, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started my eyelash business in 2018.

At only 21 years old, I started working from my home. My business slowly grew but has now led to me working in a shared salon suite working with everything beauty. In a matter of a 4-year time frame, I have grown into a business owner and now a mentor in training individuals to learn the lash technique.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest challenge on my path to being a small business owner was to have my finances on track and to keep a consistent engagement from anyone following me and my business.

My slow seasons have been a scare but I learned to always keep a positive mind and remind myself that clientele will follow.

As you know, we’re big fans of VL Esthetics. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Thank you to those reading! My name is Veronika.

I am the owner of VL Esthetics and I offer a variety of beauty services I also offer eyelash extensions, training classes. I started my business with one service and I thought the only service I would only offer, was eyelash extensions. I attended Avalon Institute in 2019 and graduated as an Esthetician. I now offer more than eyelash extensions.

I offer facials, waxing, tinting & teeth whitening. I strive to learn everything beauty and all the new techniques and advancements that the future holds. I’m ultimately thankful for all the supporting clients that have stuck with me during my journey and helped my business grow into what it is now.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Remaining my professionalism, dedication, consistency, and learning from mistakes has been the most important qualities within myself to keep a successfully running business.
