Hidden Gems: Meet Trinity Steidinger of Father Daughter Construction

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinity Steidinger.

Trinity Steidinger

Hi Trinity, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I found an interest in real estate in high school and began to pursue the different paths possible in the real estate industry. In my senior year of high school, my father and I purchased a house as a fix-and-flip, and together, we managed the project to completion in the hours I wasn’t in a classroom. Additionally, that year, I worked as an unpaid intern for a realtor in our area as he was starting a business in the manufactured home space, and I learned as much as I could from him. Out of high school, I still needed to decide what career to pursue. I chose to work for a financial advisor/asset management firm and got my Series 65 license to trade securities and give advice to clients. I learned a lot from that and have taken much of that knowledge into the finances of my own small business. Since then, I’ve gotten my real estate license and completed 3 other house flips with the help of my father, realizing that the project management of the actual construction was what I liked best about the different avenues of real estate I had done. Now, we have a construction business that focuses on remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, and any additions to your home. My father and I work together, doing some work and managing the projects.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A big struggle has been gaining respect as a young woman who knows who doesn’t know everything I need about construction. I’m absorbing as much knowledge as possible, always asking the people working for the company about why they’re doing what they’re doing. I’m constantly learning how to be a better business owner and continue to follow my father’s example of running a good company because he owns a successful landscape company.

We’ve been impressed with Father Daughter Construction, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart?
It is owned and operated by my father and I. We specialize in transforming your house into what you’ve always envisioned—everything interior and exterior remodeling, from full kitchen and bathroom upgrades to adding rooms to your home. We paint, build, problem-solve, and help your dreams become a reality. Being a family-owned and operated business means a high level of communication, understanding, and a separate set of talents for each of us. We take pride in all the work we do and in the reputation we are creating.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
We used to volunteer at a ranch for rescue horses by feeding them, caring for them, and cleaning their stalls and the barn. We learned how to ride horses bareback from the ranch owner, and knowing that with my sister was one of my favorite memories. Now we live on that ranch, which is like a dream come true.
