Hidden Gems: Meet Taylor Jean Anderson of RoyalT Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Jean Anderson.

Hi Taylor Jean, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in small-town Wisconsin, where my mom was an art teacher and creativity was always encouraged in our household. We weren’t allowed inside when the sun was out unless we were deathly ill, which I now realize gave me this deep connection to nature and freedom that still drives everything I do today.

When I lost my mom unexpectedly at 10 years old, I became the emotional caretaker for my family. That experience taught me early on that sometimes you have to figure things out on your own, but it also sparked this relentless curiosity about why things are the way they are. I was always the kid asking “why” when everyone else just followed the rules.

For over a decade, I worked in digital marketing. I had this pattern of always creating my own role within other people’s visions. I’d get hired for one thing, then end up building entire systems and strategies that transformed their businesses. I was really good at helping others succeed, but I kept putting my own dreams on the back burner.

The turning point came when I realized I was tired of building other people’s empires while my own ideas collected dust. I had all these half-finished projects and this nagging feeling that I was meant for something bigger. Something that was authentically mine.

That’s when RoyalT Studio was born. I wanted to create a space where entrepreneurs could get the same kind of holistic support I’d been giving to companies, but with the freedom to build their businesses their way, not according to some cookie-cutter formula.

Now I help high-ticket service providers create, grow, and scale their businesses through a blend of practical strategy and intuitive guidance. Because I believe you can have both. The systems that work AND the freedom to do it your way.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road! I think anyone who says entrepreneurship is easy is either lying or selling something.

One of my biggest patterns was what I call “the helper’s trap.” I was incredible at building systems and strategies for other people’s businesses, but I kept putting my own dreams on the back burner. I’d get hired for one role, then end up creating entire departments and transforming their operations, but I was terrified to bet on myself the same way.

I also struggled with what I now recognize as “shiny object syndrome” mixed with perfectionism. I’d start building something amazing, get 80% of the way there, then doubt myself and pivot to something new. I had all these half-finished projects and this constant feeling that I wasn’t “ready” yet. Some of my earlier mentors would push me toward the next big thing instead of helping me finish what I’d started, which only reinforced that pattern.

Getting fired twice was actually a blessing in disguise, though it didn’t feel like it at the time. The first time, I wasn’t ready and I scrambled back to safety. But the second time, something clicked. I realized I was more afraid of staying stuck than I was of failing.

The hardest part has been learning to trust my own instincts over other people’s opinions about what my business “should” look like. Everyone had advice about picking one thing, following proven formulas, or scaling in traditional ways. But I kept feeling pulled toward this more holistic approach that blends practical strategy with intuitive guidance.

Now I see that all those “detours” and struggles were actually preparing me to help my clients navigate their own messy, non-linear paths to success. Sometimes the scenic route teaches you things the highway never could.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about RoyalT Studio?
RoyalT Studio is where strategy meets intuition. I help high-ticket online service providers create, grow, and scale their businesses without losing their authentic voice or burning out in the process.

What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in cookie-cutter formulas. After spending over a decade in digital marketing, I kept seeing entrepreneurs trying to force themselves into someone else’s “proven system” and losing what made them special in the first place. So I created something different.

I specialize in what I call “holistic business building” that combines practical marketing strategy with mindset work and intuitive guidance. My clients get the systems and automation they need, but they also get permission to do it their way.

Whether that’s through my Entrepreneurs:Elevated membership for newer coaches and consultants, my Leads:Amplified program for established entrepreneurs ready to scale, or my comprehensive done-for-you services, everything I do is built around the idea that your business should feel like an extension of who you are, not a costume you put on.

I’m also at the forefront of integrating AI into business operations. Building custom GPTs, AI agents, and intelligent automation that actually saves time while maintaining that human connection. Combined with my expertise in Notion systems, funnel building, website development, and social media strategy, I can literally build the entire backend of someone’s business while they focus on what they do best.

What I’m most proud of is the transformations I’ve witnessed. I’ve watched clients go from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to confidently charging premium prices for their expertise. One client went from inconsistent $2-3k months to confidently closing $7k contracts. Another transitioned from teaching to building her own instructional design business with complete confidence. It’s watching people understand their natural talents to break out of the system and actually create the business and life they’ve dreamed of, and not just a life society told them to build.

I think what people appreciate most about working with me is that I’m completely transparent and human in this process. I’m not some guru on a pedestal selling you strategies from 2019. I’m figuring this stuff out in real time, right alongside my clients. When you work with me, you get me raw, you get me real, and most importantly, you get me ON YOUR TEAM.

The moment you share an idea with me, it becomes OUR idea. How do we bring this to life together? What would make this feel authentic to you? I’m not here to give you a cookie-cutter solution. I’m here to roll up my sleeves and help you build something that’s uniquely yours. Because I believe the best businesses aren’t built from outdated playbooks, they’re built from real conversations, real challenges, and real breakthroughs happening right now.

At the end of the day, I believe every entrepreneur has something unique to offer the world. My job is to help them package that gift in a way that serves their ideal clients while honoring their own values and vision.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I have so many fun childhood memories, but if I had to pick one theme that really shaped me, it would be all those hours my brother, our friends, and I spent outside creating completely random rules and games to keep ourselves entertained.

My parents had this rule that we couldn’t be inside when the sun was out unless we were deathly ill, so we got really creative about how to spend our time. We’d invent elaborate games with made-up rules that probably made no sense to anyone else, but they were perfect for us. One day we’d create deep strategic games of “Capture the Petri Dish” (a weird version of capture the flag with clues), and the next we’d play “Intense Spoons” (like the card game “spoons” but across the entire backyard instead of inside your living room).

Looking back, I think a lot of my core skillsets stem from those experiences. We were constantly problem-solving, negotiating, adapting the rules when they weren’t working, and finding ways to make ordinary things extraordinary. We had to be both active and creative at the same time, which is honestly how I still approach everything I do.

I think that’s where I learned that rules aren’t set in stone, and that sometimes the best solutions come from making up your own game entirely. It’s probably why I’m so comfortable helping entrepreneurs create their own path instead of following someone else’s playbook.
