At 12, I immigrated from Brazil to a new country, embracing a foreign culture and way of life. Little did I know, this was just the beginning of a remarkable journey. By 15, I found myself pregnant; by 16, I had made the difficult decision to drop out of school. Alone with my son after my family returned to Brazil, uncertainty loomed. But within me burned a fierce determination to shape a better future. With unwavering resolve, I pursued my GED and returned to college while navigating the challenges of being a single mother and a minority. These hurdles only fueled my commitment to succeed. This determination led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business from Umass Boston. The journey was grueling, demanding constant leaps out of my comfort zone. As a single mother, I balanced my responsibilities while pushing myself to grow and evolve. This relentless pursuit of self-improvement laid the foundation for my ventures.

I ventured into entrepreneurship, recognizing the potential in real estate investments and marketing. My portfolio grew, and among my ventures emerged Right Key Mortgage, a trusted partner for those seeking residential mortgages. Transparency and personalized solutions became the cornerstones of this venture, reflecting my unwavering commitment to empowering others. The journey has been far from smooth; the initial obstacles included the language barrier and navigating as both a minority and a woman in the finance world. Yet, with sheer determination, I overcame these challenges. As I dedicated myself and achieved significant success, a new question emerged: How could I transition from a two-person company to one with 30 employees within three years, and how could I continue elevating my efforts? Each challenge presented itself uniquely, demanding a fresh skill set. This underscores the paramount importance of continuous learning, seeking mentorship, and embracing humility. The truth is, there’s no limit to what one can know. I staunchly believe in keeping one’s head down and learning consistently. Today, a fresh challenge confronts me: determining where to channel my energy amidst a spectrum of ventures and familial responsibilities. Yet, the learning process continues. Each day, I strive to refine the art of balancing life’s demands, honing my leadership skills, and making meaningful contributions to my community.
