Hidden Gems: Meet Sydnee Falkner of Cake Co Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydnee Falkner

Hi Sydnee, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
If you can believe it, I come from an extremely small town in the middle of nowhere Alaska. My graduating class was the largest at 30 kids and I played basketball, volleyball and ran track as a way to stay busy and out of the cold. After graduating, I worked in the oilfield in order to pay for college while attending ASU for my degree in Kinesiology. I was a young snowbird I guess you could say! Since being in ad out of Arizona, I’ve worked in all different industries in “the big city”. All of the experiences I’ve had so far have helped me get a better idea of what it is that I want to do and where I want to be. I knew I wanted to help empower women to look and feel their best – inside and out. During COVID, I made the jump to start online personal training for women.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing in life is ever smooth I feel like but that’s what makes us appreciate the journey so much more! I have had my ups and downs with my own training and even getting the right type of clients. Learning to love the process and everything that is apart of it, even the challenges, is what keeps me going. It’s difficult being perceived as “another online trainer” but my goal is truly help women feel empowered in every aspect of their life.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Cake Co Fitness?
Growing up, I struggled with body image and self-love despite the numerous people telling me otherwise. For whatever reason, I couldn’t connect with myself and all the love I knew I had inside. I was a competitive athlete growing up but after college, began looking for something to fill that void. Everything changed when I started training—lifting weights, eating to fuel my body, and working with various coaches. Through this process, I developed a stronger sense of self and a clear vision of who I want to be.

Now, my mission is to help women, whether they’re unsure of how to start or already on their self-love journey, to fall in love with who they are and work towards who they want to be. Through emphasizing health, mindset work, and self-love, I aim to help women stop focusing on what they aren’t and start transforming into the strong, inspired, and thriving individuals they’ve always dreamed of being.

I offer online personal training programs, customized workout programs, macro meal plans and life coaching as a way to hit the mind, body, spirit wellness for women.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I love getting to meet new people that have similar visions! I am all about creating a healthy, sustainable, positive community.
