Hi Soraya, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started with the thought of us having our own business. My husband and I knew we wanted a business, so after tossing some ideas around and with the help of God, we decided to start Amor Fashion Shop in 2021. To be honest, we both have our professions me as a Realtor in AZ since 2008 and my husband with a degree in Electronics  Engineer, therefore, we started selling online first allowing us to work from home and package orders around our already busy schedules. Then we decided to explore new markets and started doing pop-up events in the Valley from east to west and found out we love meeting people who love and appreciate the work of our artisans in México.

We also enjoy reading the awesome reviews from our online clients, and we bless the lives of all of our clients daily as we truly appreciate their support every purchase also helps artisans’ families in México which makes it a win-win for us.

Some true facts about our business are 1. We started with approximately $1,800 worth of merchandise and then multiplied by 2. When 1st order came through I was extremely excited 3. We have learned and are still learning a lot about setting up a Business 4. Our 5-year-old also enjoys doing business with us. 5. With the guidance of God the name of our Business became AMOR Fashion Shop and I was recently reminded that God is Love in 1 John 4:16.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Some of the struggles were learning how to set up a business from registration to even finding packaging supplies that work for us and also having to find new markets that work for us are all just as important and we continue to learn daily.

AMOR FASHION SHOP where style, culture, and fashion all come together.

We work with very talented artisans from different regions that offer made with AMOR artisans which vary from hand-painted, embroidery, leather, and hand beaded items allowing us to also sell wholesale to those that prefer to buy in bulk.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
As part of staying safe, when we do market events we have hand sanitizer in our booth.
